Rode 65 miles to work this morning. It was 25 degrees. I don't know what the wind chill works out to at 75 mph, but the air had that special, clean smell to it this morning. It's worth the frozen finger tips!

Was about 35 degrees at 5AM on my way to work this morning. Looking at 32 degrees in the morning but it's been so dry here I'm not worried about ice on the bridges so I'll be riding. The night sky has been beautiful in the mornings for at least a month. Man, gotta love life when ur on the scooter.

I expected it to be cooler this morning. It was 43 degrees as I headed to the polls to vote with only my high beam working. The temp was good. Wish my low beam hadn't been burnt out. Alas, had to make it to work.
I've picked up a new bulb. I'll replace it tomorrow morning before I pull out. Fun fun fun.

The wind chill chart I have says 25* at 75 MPH is equal to 1*......1* = COLD!

Yep, 28 degrees the last couple mornings, but sunny a balmy mid fourties on the way home.  Thank goodness for electric liners.  The weather man is calling for rain / snow on Thursday and Friday so saddle time may be limited

It is a big jump from the 80s last week to the 60s this week. The cold rain on Tuesday did not help me adjust to the new lower temps. But what ev, I'm still riding to and fro. Can't complain about that.

It rained Tuesday and Wednesday so I was in the pickup. It was 56⁰ Yesterday and 46⁰ this morning. I rode Maggie (my Magna) because the Valk is so cold natured I have a hard time getting it started.

I may be overworked at the moment and stressed about a few things there, but at least I can still sneak away and enjoy the ride.

I watched a decently bad movie from 2008, Death Valley, this morning while getting ready to head out. Then out the door I went. Didn't run afoul of any homicidal drug addicts in the desrt (movie reference) so I suppose it was a good day.

Cool, my first post here - hello everyone. I rode to work every day this week. My commute is about an hour each way, part interstate, part 4 lane highway, and part 2 lane with some hills and twisties.

26 degrees frost on the windshield of the car. Pulled bike out of garage down the road I went teras streaming out of my eyes I really need to get off my cheap a-- and buy a full face helmet.

Still riding to work pretty much every day here in central Indiana. Weather is still amazing warm. No electric cloths, no chaps, nothing special. Just a full face helmet, leather jacket, unlined leather gloves and uniform pants.

I go by a temperature display at 5:50 AM every morning. The coldest morning so far this year (according to this display) has been 28 degrees, my fingernails got a little cold that morning. It was a balmy 32 degrees today and still dry as a popcorn fart. We could use some rain.

Much better this morning-- right around 40 degrees and 60 on the way home. It looks nice for most of the week before we drop back into the 20s!

Dam cold this morning, but rode anyways...  44 when I left the house this morning...  bbbBBBRRRrrrrrr!!!  I was rewarded with an awesome ride home.
I even wore the full face Shoei this mornin cause of the cold...

A bit chilly on the fingers this morning (32 degrees F) on the way into work, but it'll be more than worth it this afternoon on the way home. Was the first time on the Valk in about 3 weeks, so it would have felt good even at -32 degrees.

I'm at the crunch part of the semester where I am coming in early and leaving late. My day is not currently filled with spare riding time. However, I'm still riding.

Broke her outta hibernation last night. Been a month since I rode. Rode this morning to work. Colder then I thought and only wore a sweatshirt. It was 26 deg out.

I rode today to a couple of client appointments near the IL-WI border, and it was absolutely perfect riding weather; just under 70, sunny, negligible breeze.  Ya get a day like that in these parts, ya gotta ride!

a coworker asked if it was a brisk ride in. Barely 40 degrees but dry, so brisk was a good word for it. He said he couldn't bring himself to ride when it was this cold. Fair enough to each his own. He said he needed a windshield. In my opinion that does make it easier. I asked him what he rode (because I don't think I've ever seen him ride to work). He has a 2005 HD he bought new that has about 1,400 miles on it. Yup. He needs to ride to work more.

It was 70 yesterday and I rode sans jacket. Its in the 40s so far today. Oh well. It happens. Still riding.

Yep, windshield helps. I was out on the boys Ducati Monster for a while yesterday and wanted to ride it to work this morning at 5AM but was afraid I'd freeze so I rode the Valk.

Out of a plant of maybe 50 workers we had two Hondas, two Kals, and one HD in the lot today.

Sure, the weather was beautiful. It was 50 degrees but not raining with the sun coming up and the temp rising around me. The weather was ridable. But why did I come to work today? I just want to go home and be sick, rest, recoup, and heal. My stomach is killing me.
I suppose the short answer is that I came to work to take care of a few things. Mostly those are things I have put off in the past so I'm running out of time (my own fault). However, I'm sitting here staring off into space wishing I was asleep somewhere so I'm not convinced that my day is being well spent yet.

Rode to work, it was 52 when I left the house.  Wore my heavy leather jacket and full finger (pretty thin) gloves.  Dress kakhis (sp?) and black dress shoes.  It was pretty cold on my face with the half helmet, but bearable.

Sorry to hear you're not feeling well Big IV.  Go back home when you get caught up and take a nap.

It's been in the low 20s overnight lately and I just noticed on my way home today (in the cage) that there's salt on the road. I guess I'm gone riding to work for the day.

I left and rode for home earlier due to illness. I didn't enjoy the ride home.  Maybe tomorrow will be better.

Balmy 34 when I left tto come in this morning. Wet roads didn't worry me until the radio mentioned black ice 20 miles north.    Got to get as many rides in as possible before the roads get heavily salted.   I've missed several nice days sitting in a tree.

I never know when to stop and take care of my own health and when to keep pushing forward and take care of work. This morning I slept in. I rested. Now I'm up and feeling much better. The sunshine and the warm skies didn't feel bad either.
Back to work I must go.

I might be able to sneak in a little run here or there but Thanksgiving will keep e from riding to work.

We got a 2 day break, it was 55F at 7A this morning so off I went.

I fueled up and put Stabil in her on the way home though. It isnt looking promising until the first day of buck, and I won't be riding that day.

Dark rain slicked streets so I left early and tried to beat the traffic. I wanted to have as much of the road to myself as possible. Pretty morning otherwise. The rains wasn't too severe. My pants will dry before I have to be seen at work.
