MotorCycle Setup Pty Ltd Cruise Control - Opinions / Experience

(1/3) > >>

Disco:
I recently fell into a lightly used Valkyrie cruise control.  Should I put it on or not?   :-\  TIA

Kingbee:
Which brand is it?  Electronic?

I can't live without mine.

Disco:
It's the MotorCycle Setup Pty. Ltd. unit from Australia.

Master Blaster:
Dave that one has a sterling reputation, reason more of them are not around is its very expensive.  Think thats what RJ uses and has had great luck with it.  Dont think you will regret installing it.  I am thinking about one from the company that makes the Audiovox, I believe it is a Rostra, and is also fully electronic with no vaccumn requirement.  Its also reasonably priced, just a little more than the Audiovox.

I'll say this and get it off my chest, so after reading it just laugh, OK?

If ya don't put it on you is dumber than a box of rocks. :2funny:

With that said, I put one on MGM over 220,000 miles ago.  NO problems with it what so ever........  I never protected the switch on the bars when it rained, snowed or someone just up and poured water on it.

It will hold the MPH within + or - 1 MPH from what ya set it.  Even up and down hills.... It is not really too smart to use it in the rain, as there is enough HP in the Valk, she could possibly spin the rear wheel on ya.   Dats NOT good with the Cruise on.
