Alternator whine?

LOL Nah original brushes, he just repacked the bearings. We did ride last night. But I'm at work today and i'm bored. Nuttin to do and nothing on TV. Blah!  :-[

Well I found the problem. Someone posted a few days ago about a buzzing tranny cover. I had the bike warming up so I decided to take of the alt side cover after removing one bolt and loosening the other, the noise went away!  :o It was the cover vibrating. I took it off and stuck some cork behing it and installed. No noise!
