New tires

     Just got my new tires and saw a yellow spot on each one.
 Do they use this mark to mark the heavy spot tires for balanceing?

I believe the idea is to line up the dot with the valve stem to help with the balance.  Soemtimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

The best idea is to find the heavy spot on the wheel with no tire on it, then put the yellow spot to the opposite side of the wheels heavy spot. With my Car tire it resulted in perfect balance, no weights needed  :)
