That would be the Heritage Bib and also not available. I bet Talisman could make something similar though.  cooldude

The Talisman web site doesn't list an Interstate tank bib with the gas cap cover. Only for the Standard or Tourer.

Nonetheless it is a Talisman.  Scott does his own work, so he may produce items now and then that don't necessarily appear on his website.

Indeed it is. As with many Valkyrie accessories they are fast disappearing. It would be worth the time to ask Scott to find out as the gas cap cover is a great addition to the functionality of a tank bib. If Scott is willing to make some I'd jump on it before it too disappears.

I stand corrected as to it's origin. I knew someone asked him to make one similar to the heritage and it looks like a great job.   cooldude

I've got the Iron Horse Tank Bib and love it. My small riding wallet goes in the bottom, eyeglasses, chapstick, and eyedrops in the top.
I prefer not to cover my gas cap. I use it as a mirror to check for bugs in my teeth Smiley

Well.....unless you ride behind a shield, riding in Florida that can be a problem.   Grin

Scott at Talisman says he can put the gas cap cover on any of his bibs. Since him website does not offer it for the IS you just have to email or call him to get it cover option.

Can you tell me if they leave any marks on the tank ? Has anyone had one on a couple years and then taken it off to check for scratches? What holds them in place? Thanks

The bib is held on by its passing under the screws on either end of the tank that hold it to the frame.  The bib also passes under the fuel cap trim.

The bib itself will not scratch your tank, but if you allow dirt to get between the bib and tank it may.

This is Scott from Talisman.
The gas cap cover is available for the Interstate , Standard and Tour.
On my website it is shown on a bike with bib but is also on my site as an add-on.
I also now have a 2 pocket bib available.
its not on my website yet but is listed on Ebay.  Picture only - not on a bike.
I would also like to thank everyone out there that has purchased my bibs and gave such great reviews.
