I HAD to include the pictures.  What kind of ride report would it have been without THE MONEY SHOT.

With all the details and pics, when is someone going to post up a how-to DIY in Shoptalk?

I'm sorry, there must be some confusion, My colonoscopy is scheduled for Thursday, (AKA riding the snake), and I was wondering how much time you have after taking the laxitive to get to the "facilities".  I'm sorry, I probably could have worded things more clearly.  I'll still do a ride report with pictures if you guys are interested though!!   :uglystupid2: :2funny:

Tomorrow is clearance day at the Britman house.

NO PHONE CALLS AFTER 5 PM.

I'll be too darn busy going Uuuuuuhhhhh. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawd.

Over and over and over and over

I haven't been able to find anyone willing to take the laxatives for me.

The pharmacist laughed when asked if she would.

The pre booking lady from the hospital wished me a pleasant visit. I told her I know you know what I'm coming in for and she started to laugh.

It ain't funny.  :2funny:

I've just finished preparing a few clear Jellos for tomorrows enjoyment. Orange, Lemon/Lime and Pineapple. MMMM Mmmmmmm.

WHEN DID THEY STOP MAKING JELLO IN BLOCKS???  >:(

Maybe it's because I bought the store brand?

The powdery puffering just doesn't look the same once boiled. Nor can one rip off a chunk to chew on.

Also have some Gatorade and apple juice along with some lemon hard candy to suck on.

Just found this online

Unlike the stomach and small intestines, though, whose movements take a matter of hours, it takes days for waste to move through the large intestine -- the waste moves at a pace of about 1 centimeter per hour.

Not once I start popping the zoom zoom pills.  :o  ;D  :o

Well Paul,

I hope you have at least as much fun as I did.  At least you'll get caught up on your reading tomorrow.  And then there is the nice nap you get to look forward to the next day, and my absolutely favorite part, people ASKING you to pass gass!  I t doesn't get any better!

I hope you get a pass on this test, I almost flunked mine!

I'm Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaacccccccccccccccck,

Checked in to the hospital at 9. Procedure started about 9.40.

Watched the last 10 minutes on the monitor as the black snake was being withdrawn. Very interesting. Dr found I one small polyp which he removed for biopsy but said it look benign. Last colonoscopy 10 years ago I had 5 removed.

Friend picked me up at the main entrance at 10.55.

It's a doddle.

GET 'ER DONE !!!

My insurance paid 100% so check yours. Cheaper for them to have a client get checked than the alternative treament if there's a problem down the road.

Bite to eat. Have a good gas expulsion and an afternoon nap and I'll be right as rain.

EDIT

The Charmin toilet paper with Aloe and E REALLY helped during the Billy Connolly phase  :2funny:

Colonoscopy (Lower GI Endoscopy)

I was quite pleased to see that my resting heart rate whilst waiting for the anasthetic was 60 bpm

That's a couple of beats higher than my normal resting heart rate.

GET 'ER DONE.

Just finished my last 8oz glass of TryLyte (no Miralax from my doctor) so I'm still in the flushing phase and damn tired of this.  Have my roto rooter at 11:00 tomorrow.

Britman, were you at the St. Joseph complex?  That where I'm going.

Thanks for checking and all is well.  I'm taking it as an omen to maintain my current diet with an emphasis on the three primary food groups; fried chicken, beer, and Oreos.

I'm nearly there. No Oreos, darn it.
