States to avoid? Seems a tad harsh. Maybe just not inhale while there, or not?  :coolsmiley:

But there's some fantastic riding out there...

I know I'll be heading back that way when I can, beautiful, just beautiful especially late June through about late September.  :cooldude:

Don't know if they still do, but I used to spend a lot of time in Amsterdam in the '90s.  Back then, the state would provide heroin to junkies to keep them from robbing tourists.

But, would you say there were any attributable memory loss or other acute or chronic affects experienced?

I've got 8 irrigated acres out back and I'll be a'plantin' as soon as the legislature gets their act together over the next 18 months.   It's all about economics and industry.  Time to make this piece of dirt give me my long, overdue payday.   The ship has finally come in!!!  Screw the Feds, Marley was Jesus.  :2funny:

Geez,, I never thought about this until now.. I just lost some business !! And to me,, a bad ole capitalist,, that means money.. This probably means I won't be flying the 'law' around looking for the ' bright green stuff ' anymore.. Maybe its time to turn the little grass strip into a ' green ' grass strip..

Mr. Nuts

They legalized it a while back in MT and the state went haywire. Obama said he wouldn't prosecute. Growers and stores popped up on every corner. Payday loans and pawn your car joints on the other corner. One giant glass nursery right on the main Hwy here was a sight to see. About the size of Costco. On a motorcycle you could smell it for a mile. The Feds let growers get real involved and bank millions. Then they raided them, took all the money, guns, real estate, cars, etc. Perps were not even allowed to bring in the fact that Montana allowed this. That was not considered admissible as a defense. Federal court and Federal prison. Not much fun now. But they had fun for a while.

Things are peaceful here again. Potheads are back in the closet. We just passed another law repealing the first one that allowed all this. Montana folks appear to have learned their lesson about legalization. Colorado and Washington will be the same. Feds will wait an appropriate amount of time and then they will bust them big time.

Montana potheads are now on their way to CO and WA if they can find a ride...

Well, I still fear people on cell phones the most. And from what I've seen in my car, my rig and on my bike...there HAS to be way more people on the cursed phone than drunks or heads. So does that mean I should avoid EVERY state?

As far as what popped up in Montana when weed was legal...have you been to any other state? I mean those pawn shops and title places are everywhere. In every state, almost every city. Really.

And as much as I'd like to see weed legalized, it is irrelevant to me. I drive a semi. Even if weed is legal, I will still have drug tests. Period. And as far as I know, pretty much every decent job has drug tests, either random or pre-hire. So in my opinion, it's not like passage of a legalization law is going to result in 100% of the people firing up morning noon and night.
