Joe doesn't have any money coming. Clark originally said "I'll bet $50 I am for Notre Dame". He never said ANYTHING about the outcome of the game, only that he WAS FOR NOTRE DAME. Joe & several others fell for it hook, line, & sinker.  :2funny:

That scam would make some sense if the originator of the "trick bet" had established a history of using proper punctuation and grammar.  That one didn't.  To make things more obfuscated the statement was made in response to the offer of a bet on the outcome of the game.

I think in this case the angler cast awry and hooked his own butt.   ;)

Not the same not even in the same ball park...Clark can only dream he had the intelligence of The Anvil. Plus I'd " BET " money if The Anvil had made the bet none of this would have happened ...He would have paid me if he lost....I would have paid him if I lost...That's the way real men do things.

Here is what I think of smokinjoe. I could hand him a million bucks and say ill be back in 10 years to get it. 10 years down the road I guarantee it would still be there. Well most of it, minus the price of a valkyrie. Joe is a stand up guy and would never pull those childish tricks on anyone. +1 for smokinjoe
