Hi all!  Been lurking since I bought my '97 Bumblebee last November. Just picked it up from storage on Friday. Sunday it wouldn't start  >:(

Browsing this board I found the fix. Battery was pegging down to 9+ volts while starting. Learned from y'all that was plenty to spin the starter, not enough for spark. New $87 Yuasa, and I'm good to go!

Thanks!

Glad you got her running. NOW the grins begin.  :cooldude: And welcome to our little corner of the insanity.  :2funny: Is that truck stop still operating in Sturbridge?? Retired over the road driver.  :crazy2:  Again-welcome from the Ozarks.  ;) RIDE SAFE.

Gregstur, welcome to the best board on the web.  You already own the best bike made. :cooldude:

I'm next door in Brimfield, been riding Valks since 1999.

I ride with a bunch of HD riders, but don't mind waiting for them at stop signs, lights or restaurants. ;D

We usually get together every Sunday for a scoot around, maybe you could join us sometime.

So I'm wondering if anyone on the board knows this bike?  Mfd 7/96, last four of serial # 1800, came from New Hampshire?
