98 Valkyrie Standard great deal for someone

I'm not selling this, or am i vouching for the seller, & i didn't want to list it in the classifieds.

Just thought that someone would be in for a great deal for a little cash & some TLC.  I think it will go fast at this price ($3750), just listed 4 days ago.

Price is right, but I am ALWAYS leery when the seller does NOT have a title.  If lost, why doesn't the seller just get a duplicate?  Easy to do.

If death, it will have gone thru probate, and title issued.

He states easy to get title, and steps to follow.  If so easy, he should do it, and sell bike with new title.

Might just be me, but no title is a BIG red flag.

OK.  So, best case, it shows the guy selling the bike as the legal owner.  Why doesn't he just get a duplicate title?  MUCH easier than the buyer going thru hoops.

If the seller is so lazy, he can't do that, makes me seriously question how well he took care of the bike.

I am NOT saying there is anything wrong, I just do not understand the mentality.

As much as I would like to have a Cream and Yellow with Cobras i'd be leery myself.  Seller really NEEDS to git up offin his keester and get the paper work correct BEFORE the sale I M H O.  EVERY vehicle I've ever bought in what ever state I bought it in had correct paper work or NO DEAL.    RIDE SAFE.

Yep & Yep, there are some red flags,
If i was closer & in the market, I would definitely kick the tires.  you never know,
Last year someone locally listed a Interstate for +2k below market, to good to be true right, so I set up a time to stop over for a look see (2 days later) & called that day i was supposed to see it & told me it was sold.
2 days later same bike was listed on  ebay for $2500 more, I called  & talked to the seller & found out that he's a dealer & bought the bike sight unseen from the ebay seller over the phone.

UGH, sometimes there just good deals & you have to act fast,,, unfortunately, I didn't
