Glad you are home, my friend.   You did great yesterday and for what it's worth to everyone else.  Yes he left earlier than what we thought he moves up and down the stairs, walks fine, and stands without being dizzy or unstable.   It will just take time.

Some explanation of what happened to you would be great. A lot of us are diabetics too! 

I have little or no recollection of the incident.  What I do have is possibly diluted by what I've heard of eye witness accounts.

I tend to discount the initial reports of the low occurence of my blood sugar, although let me emphasize how important it is for us diabetics to snack as needed and be aware.  The rear tire blew either spontaneously or resulting from a sudden puncture (rip) and deflation.  Due to my proximity (at 70 plus) to a freighter I may have initially misinterpretted the signs of what was happening as wind turbulence.  I lost control.  Damage to the bike indicates the speed may have been reduced before I exited the vehicle.  Maybe not.

I'm sorry I don't have more.  I'm glad you weren't there.  I hope you never are.

Unknown to me at this time.  Wheel indicates it was fully deflated at time of MC crash.

The massive hole in the center of the tire does indicate "sudden deflation" and the condition of the rear wheel is below poor .  It rides a little funny  but  Valk's are TOUGH! I've ridden worse

Well said. I can't speak for Carl either, but from a personal standpoint, I can't remember what happened in my accident either other than a girl ran a stop sign and I hit her broadside. And that was 6 yrs ago. The point is, there's a chance it will never come back to Carl...and sometimes that's for the better.
