Hmmm, there's an idea... Honestly I had that on the shirt first but changed it to Marysville. I guess it's cause I toured the factory a couple of times I don't know????

I have done what you suggested to the art... It looks better!

I prefer the colour of the #2 image and i think think the following image at a 20% screen would be awesome. If you do stick with #2 image, I still think a 20% screen would help to separate the two images (bike & background) and at 20% it is still there.


Look forward to seeing the final.

Just a suggestion but why not take poll? I'm not on here all the time and I'm sure others aren't as well. I see you just posted yesterday so in time you might have more votes either way. I do like 1 & 2 the best.

Well, you ask. I prefer #1, but I do like the actual factory photo idea.
Now someone else mentioned it, and I wanted to, so here goes. I like the layout and artwork down to the copy below the art. I believe the typestyle and treatment to the type is a bit redundant, also should be minimized so as not to take away from the spectacular impact of the image and text above it. (less is more sometimes as they say).
While I'm at it imho the two word FLAT and SIX are too short for the large T and X, the T looks bigger than the F in FLAT. Also agree that "-" instead of "to" between 1996-2003.
That being said I certainly appreciate your talent and have got to respect your modesty and willingness to ask for  constructive criticism. That's gonna be a great shirt.

I like #1.
If the machinery were tan instead of blue that might contrast better. The factory is to dreary.
Also, Made in U.S.A. has more impact.
Either way, 1, XXL and 2 L's for me.

I agree.  I have no clue what Nr 2 represents..but it looks like some old steel mill from the 18 or early 1900s.  Looks nothing like Marysville Ohio from what I recall being there.  

Furthermore... to be more precise, I don't think they were technically manufactured in the USA, they were built/assembled/made in the USA.  I have been thru the plant tour twice, and recall the bikes being painted and assembled..... but do not recall them hammering or pressing the steel fenders/tanks, or laying the fiberglass for the bags/fairings etc.  You will no doubt get a Harley or BMW guy wanting to argue semantics to discredit the term in some manner.  Keep it simple.... "Made In The USA" means the bike was made whole here, no matter where the parts came from.

I like #2, although I might choose #1 if the gears image was done in the tan like #2. That big gold circle behind the Valk really set off the Bike. Almost like a "Sunset".
I'm curious about one thing though. I know you could buy a Valk in late '96, but weren't Valk's technically from '97 - '03?

Just my personal opinion but I think Marysville, Ohio has earned the right to be mentioned here.  After all those who built the cruiser of the Decade in reality built an awsome cruiser like no other......How about  "Marysville Ohio, USA".  I'm voting for #2

All this talk of the Marysville, Ohio plant got me to thinking. I seemed to remember an article I'd read in one of the mags I'd picked up from e-bay. Got to looking through the stack and sure nuff, there it was.
The July 1996 issue of American Motorcyclist magazine.  Feature Cover article on the first official days production run of the all new Honda Valkyrie at Honda's Marysville, Ohio Plant. 70 Valkyrie's came off the line that day and the writers at American Motorcyclist were allowed to follow the build of their "long-term loaner" that Honda was giving to them.
