Did a little bit today ............. rear wheel bearings.

The race would not turn\rotate smoothly as if there was a flat spot in the bearing.

K, enough of the huggy stuff  heres what got done yesterday.

Not perfect but a little better than before.

Had a missing shield band so I found a bracket in my garage that I kept from something for something and this must have been that something ............



Also has a broke of hanger stud that I would like to fix before re-mounting the pipes ........... I have an idea for that.

Starting to get back to normal .............



The front wheel bearings didn't show up due to the holiday so I'll get them tomorrow hopefully.

I keep old nuts and bolts and brackets and such like in the old trusty "junk" box.  The "junk" box has saved my azz more than once late night early morning when everything is closed. Been thru a lot of vehicles 2 wives lived in houses apartments mobile homes and R/Vs and with friends relatives and outlaws. I STILL have my "junk" box.  And B T W-lookin good on all yer doin to Ali. I DO NOT want to miss the reunion at I-14. lookin forward to that. RIDE SAFE.

I went back and read all posts on this and on the volusia forum too and all I can say is you have done a wonderful thing to reunite DDT with his fat lady. And I know when you see his face when you give her back you will feel as good as he will. There will probably be a couple tears too from both sides. This world needs more good deeds from people

HOLY POOPIE-DOODLE!!!!!! If my fingers got all choked up the way my voice has, then I couldn't be writing this... I do have to wipe my eyes frequently to see what I'm typing, however... Terry, I truly wish I had the words to express what all of this has meant to me... I'm simply blown away!

I'll be anxiously awaiting your arrival at IZ-14... BTW, she looks and sounds fabulous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am very pleased at how she feels and rides.
I will post up some stills from a ride west we took as I don't know how to edit the video to make it shorter or interesting.

WOW! Great ride report... Heck, I may have to rethink how I report rides now. Pics and videos do add a lot, and they are certainly worth every single one of those thousand words each replaces! And the audio!!!

She sure sounds different than she did the last time we were together... no more grinding and popping, and she seems so responsive and peppy... I can't wait to hold her again... With all the TLC and attention she's been getting, she may want to just stay in Calgary... Hope not, my life has not been complete since I bid her farewell last August.

She has obviously been in capable and good hands... An incredible story that began with a sinking, lowest of the low feeling, and appears headed for an incredible high in only a couple of weeks now... From the agony of defeat to the thrill of victory, and you're the character who has made it possible... THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's all I got now, is 3 wheels.   The Chevy, and MGM is converted with a Road Smith unit.     Love that independent suspension.     I know with just a tad of effort, you can really stuff him though a hard corner, not like Trakcy (Lady Draco) can however.
