I've just got an el cheapo plastic one from Walmart . Mounted to the windshield between the gauges. It does block the blinker indicator though! But it works great for coffee in the morning and ice tea in the afternoon

John Schmidt

Got a shiney aluminum one from a bicycle shop and mounted it on the left handlebar, in front of the switches and stuff. Carry a water bottle or what have you. Just keep it tilted up a bit so it doesn't hit the tank, but also makes a neat helmet holder.

Holds a water bottle or a travel cup.
... and as I shifted into second I couldn't remember a thing she said.

I have been using the Butler for years.

http://www.glassact.com/

Had it on my Road Star.  When I got the valk, it had a nice looking chrome mount.  The thing only held a small mug and it shook like crazy.  I ripped the butler off the Road Star and mounted it on the Valk after only one ride.

I started with one of the kruzzer kaddy holders....the chrome one.  It sucked.  It dumped more water bottles out on the road than I care to remember.

Have tried several different ones since....all sucked to some varying degree......but have since found cup holder nirvana with my Barefoot Willies cup holder.   :cooldude:

Do a search on MotoFizz, have one on both the trike & scooter, mounts where the mirror screws in, & has an adjustable arm with a knob on the bottom. Used for both hot & cold, haven't lost one yet.

Agreed that the Kruzer Kaddys suck.  I had the clutch mount one, it was junk.

I have the large Butler.  If I don't fill it with water and ice, I just throw the lid in the saddle bag and drop the bottle of water in the open cup.

I used to have the barefoot willies but decided to replace it with the stainless steel flame cup holder w/stainless steel cup that mounts on the left rear of the engine. It was offered for sale on valkyrieblingandmore.com for a good while, but I just checked and it wasn't listed.

I was a little hesitant at first because of the mount location, but it looks awesome, works great especially for coffee, but it does work for cold drinks as well. Easy reach for cup, cleans up the handlebar area and no drips on the tank! $47.50 + shipping.........

One thing I like about my Barefoot Willies cup holder is that it also doubles as a sunglasses holder....or most anything else I need a quick place to stash something.

It also works great as a drink holder too.   ;)

I have a Mug Butler.  It's big, holds a lot, and it works well.

Mine is pretty , sits on the rear seat and I hand her my drink and say "here , hold this "....haha...thats my drink holder. In return ..I'm her "Lawn Mower" , "Dish Washer" and "Money-maker"

I just get a minimum 1 liter size bottle of whatever, water, coke, etc and just toss it between the gauges and handle bars.  The risers are just the right height to keep it secure.  When it's almost empty I drain it and wedge it under the driver backrest until the next trash can appears!  ;-)

I use a "chrome" fold-down drinkholder from M&J Enterprises.  Around $20.  Works fine as long as you don't overload it.  I've been using their holders for 15 years, on Deerslayer and the wing.

I use the RAM level cup. It looks a lot like the Bearfoot Willy cup above, but uses a RAM mount and keeps your drink levelwhile the cycle leans .
When in doubt, ride.

yah, got 2 of them one on each side of the handlebars.  Work great especially with foam insert for also storing stuff inside like keys or sunglasses or mp3 player, etc..

for low 20 range, hard to beat plus lifetime warranty in case of breakage replace for free.  Have had for 1-2 years and both are holding up real well no breakage.  What is nice if have a bigger mug, you can remove foam liner and not use it to fit larger drinks in as well.

The plastic seems to be very heavy duty, but am sure with age, the plastic may become brittle and crack eventually but hoping 5-10 years down the road.

I've got the Kuryakyn 1462 pictured at the link above. It's a little pricey compared to some (around $60-a little more some places, a little less others) but I really like it. I bought an insulated travel cup from Target that ran about 10 bucks as I recall that fits perfectly. It does make it nice to be riding down the highway enjoying the morning coffee.  :)

Barefoot willie wins!

There are a ton out there, just think the barefoot willie even though is plastic, is durable and will last and is the best bang for your buck.  May not look the prettiest not being chrome, but it is after all a cupholder.

I got 2 one on each handlebar, gotta drink double ya know?

I actually like the black finish on the Barefoot Willie cup holder -- it's not like we don't have a ton of chrome already.  At any rate, it's working great and seems to made very well.  The shipping was crazy fast and I might order another one for the Triumph !    :cooldude:
