It's called a Savannah Cat

He'd have to stay inside, though... my cats come and go as they please through a cat door...
they either never leave the property, or almost never leave the property, but someone would
see that giant thing and shoot it or send animal control or something... really nice looking cat.

I was sitting on the bank of the Chattooga river once while my cousin Bill was fishing
a couple of bends down the river... and a Bobcat came to the other side of the river and
drank some water and sat there for a few minutes (I was real quiet)... really nice big cat...

One thing about big cats... my cats almost never leave a scratch mark on me when we're
playing... I guess a big cat would almost never rip off any of your fingers  :coolsmiley: ...

There was a Savannah cat here in Michigan that was shot about a month ago because someone thought it was a bobcat.  Owner was pissed as I recall.

Those Savannah cats are beautiful animals, a cross between an African servile and a Bengal cat I believe.  Super friendly and loyal.  They are expensive (thousands of dollars), and are not well received when loose as Skinhead mentioned.
Light moves faster than sound.  That's why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.

Black Dog

Dog guy here...

Have had two Black Labs, over the past 20 years.  Both were/are rescue dogs.  First was Brutus, a big 'Block Head', and a wonderful companion.  He tipped the scales at a muscular 110 lbs.  He passed to the big field in the sky, about 10 years ago  :'(

Currently, my third son is Bruno...

His 'can I share what you are eating?' look...

Just chillin' on the deck, while I work on the Valk...

He's 9 years old (will be 10 in April next spring).  Still thinks he's a lap dog, and loves to chase the resident deer, rabbits, and chipmunks, although he has kinda come to an understanding with the chippies.  He won't chase, if they don't get closer than a foot from him  ;)

I suppose the joke about best friends could relate to cats too...

If you want to find out who is your best friend, your dog or your wife (cat), lock them both in yer trunk for an hour or two, and see which one is happy to see you, when you open it up  :uglystupid2:

Had a neat experience this afternoon. Took my wife in for a dr. appt. and while waiting to be called in, another lady came in with a yellow Lab as a service dog. After checking in, she came and sat down a couple chairs over from Rita(wife). With Rita's Parkinsons disease, she has tremors even when sitting still, the dog seemed to take notice. He moved in Rita's direction, then looked back at his owner and she gave the OK. He came up to Rita and just looked at her for a minute, Rita started to talk to him and pet him a bit. He then came real close, put his right front paw on her lap and laid his head there as well. Rita leaned down and gave him a hug around the neck and he just leaned into her. I noticed her tremors almost disappeared. Hmmm....Idea!!!  They stayed like that for a couple minutes until the other lady was called in, very moving few minutes.

For the record it was completely unintentional, I didn't notice any of the background when I selected the pic.

I am sure that it is some classic painting, but I don't know which one.

If admin should feel the need to remove that particular pic I won't take offense.
