You were only for Cain because he's black, to try and prove you're not racist.

See, I got it now.  Thanks to Daddie O, I see the light.  I'm saved.  Praise the lord.  Oh wait, didn't they try to take God out of their platform at the convention?  Praise Allah!

A political post is not surprising when you consider how entrenched all things political are in our daily lives. That a political post would degenerate so quickly into rancor, namecalling, and generally unpleasant rhetoric is, unfortunately, also not surprising. It does confirm the intent of the House of Representatives to be the deliberative body that is closest to the people. They get along just about this well when anyone there brings up a subject that could be construed as political.

I'm confused (and I can't see pics/vids while at work) are you calling out Daddie-o for using the race card or calling out the rest of us for pointing it out?

I suspect that Conservatives hate Obama for the same reasons that Liberals hate Bush:

Their guy didn't win and there's a "Bad Guy" in office.

Seems to me rather than rant on about how bad the guy in office is, both would be better served spending the time developing a plan to make your guy/gal for the next go-round palatable to silent majority so you can get him/her elected.

Same follows if your guy is in office now--he's not gonna be there forever so do the above in the knowledge thereof.

But then, I'm in the minority--I'm an independent, I vote on individual issues and candidates that suit my beliefs and desires regardless of labels.

Jus' sayin'.

Here we go with the extremes.

Why HATE????
I dislike him because he's a liar. Simple as that.

Why RANT???
Simply because a point of view is expressed more than once?

Ever listened to the liar in chief use the same lie over and over and over?

Those reose colored  spectacles can minimise clarity if not careful.

As an independent would you then neither vote for Romney or Obama?

You'd rather make a wasted vote?

Please don't say that it's not wasted.

If you vote for someone standing for office who doesn't have a snowballs chance why do it?

I know, because it's your right and I completely agree with that but to me it seems very short sighted.

The Tea Party seems to be the only realistiic 3rd perty alternative right now because they got a lot of national support at the voting booth because they had a sound fiscally conservative platform that resonated with those able to legally vote.

The Libertarian vote sputters along with voters dropping in and out as the whim takes them.

OEAD: Rant;
verb [no object]
1. speak or shout at length in a wild, impassioned way:
noun
1. a spell of ranting; a tirade:

Sounds like most of the political posts on here to me.

I love the definitions.  Thanks for posting.  I especially like the cover where it says,"When their words don't mean what you think they mean", That's kinda like lying only not intentional, like Obama.

When Obama took office America was losing 800,000 jobs a month.  Now we are adding 200,000 a month.  A million jobs a month difference.

Within a few months of Obama taking office, unemployment was at 10%.  Unemployment is now 7.2% and falling.

When Obama took office America was spending 1.4 trillion dollars a year more than we were taking in.  Now we are spending 680 billion more than we are taking in, and it's projected to continue to fall.  Over 700 billion dollars a year less in spending.

When Obama took office the Dow Jones was under 8,000.  The Dow Jones is now 15,783.  The Dow has doubled and set new records.

When Obama took office Chevy was going bankrupt.  After Obama secured financing for GM, Chevy is now turning record profits.

I could go on and on and on.  I know you hate the man.  Realize you don't hate him for all the spending reduction.  You don't hate him for doubling the value of your 401k.  You don't hate him because he has presided over 44 consecutive months of private sector job growth.  You don't hate him because your home value has risen.  You hate him because of something else......something to do with where his father was born....something to do with the amount of melanin in his skin.  This is the truth.  Maybe you don't want to admit it to yourselves.

Let me guess.  Bush had nothing to do with the massive expansion of government right?  And Obama has had nothing to do with the reduction in government jobs too?  Bush had nothing to do with massive borrowing and spending, and Obama had nothing to do with halving the spending right?  Bush had nothing to do with getting us involved in two wars, and Obama had nothing to do with getting us out of them.  Bush had nothing to do with the stock market tanking, and Obama has nothing to do with it doubling?  Do your arguments against Obama and his policies have a shred of anything resembling logic?

What of his policies do you hope to undo?  You want to go back to higher unemployment?  Do you prefer to go back to higher spending?  Maybe you think we should get involved in some more wars?  Oh, I know, you want the value of your stocks to plummet right?  You would prefer the American car manufacturers to go out of business?  You hate the fact that your home's value continues to rise, you want to go back to it falling right?  No, its not any of those, it's Obamacare!  You want to be denied health insurance for preexisting conditions right?  You would prefer it if your insurance company could kick you off your insurance when you get sick?  You want lifetime caps on benefits right?  Yeah we should definitely go back to that.   :uglystupid2:

But, but, Obama said I could keep my policy, and my insurance company cancelled it because my policy had terms that were now against the law.  They offered me a new policy with better coverage that meets the law's requirements.  That means Obama is a liar!  :uglystupid2:

All I got out of that diatribe is that it's all Bush's fault....and if we don't agree with everything Obama does and says, we're all racists.

I can't help about the shape I'm in

Daddie O

I can simplify my post if it helps you to understand.

Losing Jobs < Adding Jobs

Unemployment High < Unemployment Falling

Spending More< Spending Less

Stocks Low < Stocks High

Home Value Falling < Home Value Rising

Republican Economics < Democratic Economics

Bush < Obama

There, is that easier for you to understand?

For those who say the spending has gone down because of the sequester, that is partially true.  To be fully true you must say the sequester was the agreement between both parties as a means to push toward negotiation.  Also, the sequester is 89 Billion Dollars, but spending has gone down 700 Billion Dollars, so to say the annual deficit has dropped 700 Billion because of a 89 Billion Dollar sequester doesn't really paint the whole picture does it?  The 700 Billion in reduced deficit is due to cuts in discretionary spending combined with increased revenue through the economy doing better and the fed taking in more tax dollars.

"Pulling the race card."  Is that what Republicans say when they get called out on their racism?  I guess I pulled the race card then.  When those in the thread say he needs to go back to Kenya.  A place he is not from, but his father is from, where do you think that sentiment comes from?  It isn't because of his nationality, because he is as American as you or I.  It is because of the amount of melanin in his skin.  These racist comments get +1's on this forum, and no one else seems to have the balls to call the racists racists, therefore you are complicit.  Yes you.  I mean when you didn't like Clinton, did you say he needs to go back to Arkansas, let alone wherever his ancestors came from.  Did you even care where his ancestors came from?  What about Carter?  Did you say he needs to go back to Georgia.  Did you ever try to find out where his ancestors immigrated from.  I'm going to take a wild guess and say no, you didn't.  Why didn't you?  What is the difference between Carter, Clinton, and Obama that makes you discuss where his ancestors came from and where he needs to "go back to"?  I already know the answer, but I think you need to answer that for yourself.

Wake up VRCC, this is what this person thinks of you.  If you keep feeding it, it'll never leave.  Starve it and it will move on.

I second that motion.   And move for unanimous consent.

He's obviously only speaking to those of us who are racist and dumb so the rest of us can rest easily and not feel offended.

I have a question.  If someone associates an individual's being from Kenya automaticly as a racial comment, whether that identification was accurate or not, who is the racist?

if we are all racist by association, then dems, libs, and progressives are all gun grabbers by the same reasoning.

•Applicants attempting to register for Medicaid as non-citizens by using Healthcare.gov will have their identification checked in real-time by the SAVE (Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements) database. But if SAVE verification fails, the applicant is not prevented from enrolling in Medicaid/CHIP.

•In fact, the opposite occurs: the applicant is likely enrolled in Medicaid immediately.

•The applicant is then given a 90-day period to clear up the identification problem.

•This "enroll first, confirm later" regulation, combined with the ACA's easing of verification requirements, allows anyone, from a computer anywhere in the world, to successfully auto-enroll for 90 days of Medicaid by entering fraudulent information about being a certain category of legal alien living in the United States.

•There is no guarantee that state governments will take action to cancel these enrollments at the end of each application's 90-day period if identification is never provided. The cancellation of unverified enrollments is left to each state's available manpower and political will.

•At the end of the 90-day period, if states do indeed ask the applicant to produce identification or to have the enrollment canceled, the applicant is allowed to ask for an extension of the 90-day period. The applicant can get the period extended for significantly longer.

•Obamacare does not allow any information entered into Healthcare.gov to be used for legal action against illegal immigrants. Like "catch and release," an applicant could attempt to fraudulently enroll repeatedly.

•Foreign entities looking to flood the Medicaid rolls with fraudulent auto-enrollments are, of course, beyond U.S. prosecution and able to cause such chaos.

•An organized effort by domestic or foreign entities to create countless numbers of these fraudulent enrollments could challenge Medicaid with an unsolvable administrative situation.

Is President Obama from Kenya?  The answer to that question is no.  To suggest he should go back to somewhere he isn't from, because of the color of his skin, is racist.  I'm sorry that has to be explained to you Willow.  Where were Bush's ancestors from?  What about Reagan?  How about any of our Presidents?  Maybe you could look it up, but what would be the point as no one cares.  Seems the right is seized with the concept of President Obama's ancestry, to the point that it is suggested that he should go back to somewhere his father (who is black) as opposed to his mother (who is white) is from.  Where are his mother's ancestors from?  Why isn't it being suggested he go back to there?  Because she is white it doesn't matter.  Stop pretending it is something other than racism Willow.

I never knew America was a Monarchy.

America is not a monarchy and your sarcasm falls flat.  You know as well as I that the state of the economy, and the budget, among other things gets attributed to the President.  The state of the economy is a major debate topic during Presidential debates.  I am sure you have blamed Obama for the economy when it wasn't going well, and you refuse to credit him as it is doing well now.  You can't logically have it both ways.  It is his fault when the economy is bad, and nothing to do with him as it improves?  It is his fault when the economy is bad, but Bush had no responsibility for when things went bad?  Does that remotely make sense to you?

So the plan is to allow the site to let any swinging penis (or other) enroll, anyone from anywhere, illegal, foreign, alien, just anyone who has a keyboard and a smattering of English (or Espaniol), and then the system has to later be corrected to drop fraudulent enrollments (which may never get done).  ANYTHING TO GET THE NUMBERS UP.

Lets see, we've been thru this before. Almost everyone voted for the Iraq war, including Clinton and the Ca liberals. Every intelligence agency said the WMDs were there. They were, they were found. Everyone, save one, knows many were buried and the rest taken to Syria. The lairs are those that now claim they didn't vote for the war and those that continue to say Bush lied.
Was I in favor of that war, no. But, Bush didn't lie about it.

Do what's right for our country!

Hillary 2016!!

Yeah, she only got 4 killed on her watch, then resigned.  Just imagine the possibilities if she were POTUS.  It'd be a massacre!

How many were killed on Bush's watch?  Let's see, add 9/11 to all the soldiers and contractors killed in Iraq... I'm not a mathematician, but I think that's more than 4.

the death rate of our troops tripled under obama in iraq in his first years. man learn some facts....
