Just registered for my first Inzane. Thanks for the east coast location. Hope the guys from NJ, NY can get together for the ride to Asheville. I can't find the hotel info to make reservations, guess it's still secret.

Who cares!  ;)

Who's leading the way from Canada?  :)
I don't think I'm first on the list from Canada, but when the time comes to ride, I'm willing to lead whoever is willing to follow.  :D

Registered, ground zero room booked, Sandra's flight paid for.  :2funny:

This really shouldn't be on the bottom of page 2.

Here's a bump back to the top of 1.

Hoping/planning to be there but my wife may or may not attend.  Seems something always comes up that we or she cannot make it.  Crossing fingers and praying.

Most anything is possible, but I gotta ask. Why would you want to stay near by? Why wouldn't you want to stay at ground zero? The staff has put a lot of work into putting this event on and finding a location that will accommodate the whole group. All of the action will be at the host hotel. We also sign a contract with the hotel stating that we garantee filling the rooms of the hotel. It doesn't seem right for us to go to all of the trouble of putting this together so that you can find somewhere just down the street to stay and leave us with a contract (that we implemented for you, the members of the VRCC) hanging over our head. Is there a good reason to avoid the rest of the club? If you really need the hotel info, send me a pm and I will be glad to provide.  :cooldude:

The best way to show your support for the VRCC is to stay at Ground Zero.  Not only have we made commitments to the hotel, but some of the things they are providing for us, are based on the fact that our people will be staying there.  They are providing many things to us free of charge, and this is based on the things that we negotiated in the contract.  By choosing to stay elsewhere, it may end up costing us in the when all is said and done.

Please show your support by staying at Ground Zero! :)

Question, How many rooms do we need to fill, and how many are still vacant?  I have made my reservation and do believe in supporting the staff's efforts, I just thought it would be a good idea to let folks know how we are doing in that regard.  Thank you all for you hard work.

This being said, I have not booked in but my buddy did and we will be sharing the room he booked.

This should bump it back to the top....I just registered, missed the last three. I talked to my daughter Toni about it and was told if needed and I helped with the plane ticket....she would come for the week and stay with my wife. She knows I need a break really bad. You have no idea how bad I want this to work out. Now, on to the hotel.

Crazy B and I have registered and booked our room at ground zero.   :coolsmiley:  The room price was a big put off but we do not want to miss anything by staying at some other location.  After all, the tire kickin, tale tellin, and adult beverages are half the fun.

Lookin forward to seein all ya'all there.

In case anyone is interested,  I did a little "drive" on Google street view around Ground Zero...  The adult beverage store is just down the street.    :cooldude:

It's not really all that straight forward.  Registration numbers do not correlate directly to hotel reservations.

The hotel has contracted us for somewhere around 142 rooms (I didn't look for the precise number).  We'd like to have two to three people in each of those rooms, but that won't be the precise case.

Someone could call the hotel and ask what the present reservation data is.  That would, of course, not account for people who reserve and then will need to cancel sometime later.

Bottom line is the more the merrier.  Some will camp.  Some will stay elsewhere.  Some will double up.

We'd like to get over three hundred people registered for five or more days.  We're not yet there.

I was counting on over four hundred.  We'll secure an overflow hotel when we near filling GZ.
