I really don't give a rat's ass about Romney versus Obama at this point.    This is one situation where quoting Hillary would be appropriate.    What Does It Matter?

What I do care about is the idiots who are going to draw us into another World War.     Not that I think Obama has the balls to do anything but, I do think Putin is someone with his finger on the trigger just looking for an excuse to pull it.

He doesn't respect Obama.    He has no reason to.   

But, this isn't about Obama, Romney or Putin   At least, not yet.

HRABOVE, Ukraine (AP) -- International monitors moved gingerly Saturday through fields reeking of the decomposing corpses of the victims of a Malaysian airliner shot down over rebel-held eastern Ukraine, trying to secure the sprawling site in hopes that a credible investigation of the disaster can be conducted.

The crash that killed all 298 people aboard the plane two days earlier intensified the already-high animosity on all sides of the conflict.

The Ukrainian government and separatist rebels accuse each other of shooting down the Boeing 777 with a surface-to-air missile. Many see the hand of Russia, either for its alleged support of the insurgents or perhaps firing the missile itself. The crash site is near the Russian border.

Amid wide calls for an international investigation, doubts arose about whether the evidence was being compromised before inspectors ever reach the scene.

We have "Man Overboard" drills all the time on the boat. And I still fall in sometimes.

Rams is correct. Putin pretty much has reign to do as he pleases now. He knows that the worst he can expect from our end are harmless sanctions and rhetoric.

No doubt that any investigation is completely compromised. The fix is in. Sooner or later someone in this country is going to have to grow a set of cajones or the eastern hemisphere will, again, be a venue for worldwide conflict.

I thought it was the Captain's job to show leadership by being the guy who goes overboard for the crew to practice rescuing.
