I am looking at tow-pac insta/trike.12" aluminum wheels with electric reverse and cover frame for $3700. I need to trike my 99 standard but have little knowledge of these kits. Also have little money to invest, does anyone have knowledge of these kits? It states they are made for the Valkyrie.

Looks well made and something that you won't have to modify your bike bike to use.

That's what I was thinking Hook, but I was hoping someone on here has bought one, without the reverse $3200 pretty cheap trike? I went to Gatesville last year they had some nice trikes but I am not a Texan (long story).

It's technically not a trike but a trike-like attachment to a motorbike.  It requires the rear wheel of the bike (fourth wheel) to be in contact with the ground for movement.

It does look like a cheap alternative to a trike, but you do give up some of the baggage space of a trike and, of course, the mechanical rear requirements are not the same as a trike.

Voyager has been marketing this kind of kit for a long time.  It works for some.  I wouldn't like it.

I would say the largest drawback would be making a trike-like vehicle feel like a motorbike.  They don't behave the same and if the rider misses or forgets that he can hurt himself quickly.

The TowPac has independent suspension of the two extra wheels which the Voyager does not, which makes the Towpac more user friendly.  The electric reverse also works well.  I have tested both as a future alternative for my self.  Some of the old guys riding group I ride with have them.  Hoser
