$1.78.9 average now. Get closer to K C or Springfield or St. Louis a tad bit cheaper. I put in 9.4 gals into the cage today at $1.75.9(murphy with card)and total was $16.55. At $4.00 a gal would have been $37.60. So $21.00 and change less. Eating out a little more often now and the Mom and Pop places I frequent preciate it!  2funny And how DARE that phony P O S the obuminater take credit for this market fluctuation!  uglystupid2 He was the ONE that said $5.00 a gal gas was "good" fer us!  tickedoff Course the fine Americans will believe most anything thrown their way.  crazy2 pelousy must NOT look in the mirror cause if she did she would have died of fright long time ago!!  Roll Eyes RIDE SAFE.

I just watch the news. He has been making a big deal of the fact that America is now becoming a world class producer of oil and gas. While the fact is that he has fought this every step of the way.
If it were not for American resourcefulness and ingenuity taking place on private lands the saudi prince would not have lowered oil price.

Went back to the STRIPES service station/store in Tomball, Tx last night to fill up the wifey's car.   Paid $1.47 but if I had had a STRIPES credit card it would have been $1.44.

They also sell the new E15 fuel there.    I don't use it but it was selling for $1.37 or if you had a Stripes credit card it was $1.34

Woo-HOO,  just dropped to 1.999 last night.  Never thought it would, but sure hope it keeps dropping.  cooldude

Most say the bottoming out is near though but will maintain the low price thru at least winter/spring.   Hard to imagine less than 1 year ago it was near double in price.

$1.85 all over Motown today. Cheaper if ya search.

$1.79 over on this side this morning. Didn't notice, did diesel go down any? I have to fill a 500 gallon fuel oil tank in the next week. Was wondering if there will be a price drop there to? My supplier is a gouger and a PIA! They like the big dollar.
If any dealer is hanging on to the highest price it will be "SPEEDWAY" in this neck of the woods.

Right on! Obama just works both sides of the street.  Tries to work is agenda to block the private sector and then take credit for what is accomplished in spite of him rather than because of him. As you probably all know by now he was blaming the Nebr. courts for holding up Keystone.  But the Nebraska Supreme Court  vacated the lower court decision that favored the environmental extremists.  The House and Senate have the votes to approve Keystone.  Only Obama's promised veto stands in the way of Keystone now.  I don't think anyone really favors a crappy environment. I favor the pipeline over over leaky railroad tank cars moving the product now.  This Canadian resource is going to be developed.  It surely is not in TransCanada's interest to have their product leaking all over the ground as some fear it will.

Yep. Canada is going to transport and sell their oil with or without us. Which is better, truck and rail to leaky chinese ships heading off to that country. Or, a pipeline to the gulf which we can use and send more oil to our refineries.
What shocks me is how many people are unaware of the number of miles of pipeline in this country. Its as if this will be the only one.

Now I hear there is a move to reduce oil tanker rail speed to 40mph. Of course the rail companies are not at all happy with this move.

Hours after 2015 arrived, gasoline prices in Sacramento and throughout California inched upward for the first time in weeks. Experts called the uptick a subdued response to the state’s new requirement that oil companies buy credits to offset the carbon emitted by cars and trucks.

Oil industry leaders raised fears of spikes as high as 75 cents or more a gallon.

Yay!
