This is because of O's amnesty and they also going to get social security. Now the figure is 5 million people but that is probably not the correct amount it should be more like 10 million or numbers as high as 15 million.  The maximum amount a family with three or more children can claim this year on their 2014 tax filings is $6,242. The top amount that could be claimed over the last four years, according to IRS documents is $24,320. Now what could you use a extra 24k on?

In 2013, the maximum credit for three children or more was was $6,044. "So two single illegals living together filing separately with 6 or more kids in the household can claim 3 each and it’s 6,044 x 2 = $12,088 x 3 years = $36,264," he wrote.

Or What We Could Have Done With the $5.8 Billion the Government Lost to Tax ID Theft, The Treasury Department was drained of an estimated $5.8 billion in tax refunds by identity thieves filing fraudulent returns during the 2013 tax-filing season. True story, according to the Government Accountability Office, which delivered the bad news earlier this month. The IRS was able to prevent the loss of another $24.2 billion during the same time period.

My kids are now out on their own, but if I recall, when filing my taxes, I had to provide mine, my wife's, and my 2 son's SS numbers.  Do these "undocumented Democrats" have to provide SS#'s?  Maybe next year I'll just claim I'm an "UD" and rake in the cash.  Thanks Uncle Sugar!

Where is our Serkometer when we need it ? Snopes shoots this story down. To begin with this was all put in limbo with the court stopping it. Second it only would have applied to illegals that actually paid taxes with a bogus ID. NO illegals that didn't work or didn't pay taxes would have been eligible.

OK Im sure everyone else is wrong  2funny 2funny 2funny 2funny uglystupid2

IRS Commissioner Koskinen confirmed this, explaining the seemingly bizarre result to Sen. Charles Grassley (R-Iowa).

The IRS says this is the way the Earned Income Tax Credit works. IRS Commissioner Koskinen says the IRS is following a 15-year-old opinion that “a taxpayer may claim the Earned Income Tax Credit for a taxable year using a Social Security number acquired in a later taxable year.” Calling the three year tax refund perk a mockery of the law, Senator Grassley noted that illegals would be able to claim billions of dollars in tax benefits.

President Obama’s immigration action giving millions of illegal immigrants Social Security numbers marked an unprecedented executive overreach,” said U.S. Rep. Patrick McHenry. “Now, we learn that these same people, whose first act on American soil was breaking our laws, might be eligible for up to $24,000 in tax credits

Obama told reporters the administration would appeal the ruling, and predicted he would prevail. Legally, the administration is likely to prevail, experts say, though perhaps not at the circuit court level,

If you had watched the video I first posted you would have heard Congressman Jim Jordan also saying that the illegals would get the tax credit. If you remeber this is the reason Homeland security funding has been fought. Because it is this organization that provides the ability for Obamas executive action to be implemented.

U.S. Rep. Patrick McHenry has introduced a bill to keep undocumented workers from receiving the Earned Income Tax Credit, a benefit for low- to moderate-income taxpayers.

This is the Snopes last line and this is the problem. If you didn't file and were granted a ss number you can collect this earned income credit. So essentially Snopes is spinning, lying, or just contradicting itself to minimize damage.
Note that it is possible a low-income taxpayer could have had no tax liability (and thus paid no income tax) for a given year, yet still receive a "refund" by qualifying for the Earned Income Tax Credit. That condition is a quirk of the U.S. tax system that has nothing to do with one's immigration status.
