Not too hard. Fit like a glove!  Only had to put a bushing in on the swing arm side bottom, used a big carriage clamp to press it in. Took the bike out for a test ride and hit every sewer cover and rut in town. Unbelievable difference, totally different ride.
Amazon was the way to go, two day delivery, best price.  Thanks for all the  help!

I'm glad to hear you like them.  I am getting ready for a 900 mile ride to InZane and decided to upgrade to  444's too.  I have a cousin who puts  Ohlins on all his bikes but they are just way too much $$.

I had progressive springs put in about 9 years ago and switched to 412's at that time... made a huge difference over stock... but as the years went by I think the ride got worse but I didn't really notice it until lately.  So, I'm having the oil, seals and bushings changed on the front and new 444's for the back..

At my age, it's about comfort, baby!  I can't wait to go for a ride and am looking forward to more comfort for the ride to InZane.

Gary,

I very much look forward to seeing you and Evan (and wives) at InZane -  I NEED to get away from this rat race or I'm gonna lose my mind!

I sure am hoping the new shocks will soak up more of the bumps on the way there.

See you in 2.5 weeks!!!
