Probably rolled up those miles on the "Dyno run" at the end of the production line.
I toured the factory in Ohio years ago and when the Wings & ATV's reached the end of the line they were Dyno'd pretty extensively including being run to redline in most, if not all the gears. If I recall correctly, they went from the dyno to a short run on a test track before being crated for shipping. Those two runs would easily account for 1.8 miles.

I saw that too. When I toured the Honda factory in Ohio, I saw where they would run the bikes on a stand sorta like a dyno. Part of a final check of all functions, both mechanical and electrical, before shipping. Then they would roll them off to be shipped, must have been a long way to the shipping department for the old Wings but I can see where it could add on a mile if they had to run the tests a couple times. Watching them in Ohio, if a bike didn't pass the first time it was rolled off and sent back for the problem to be fixed then run through again.
