All,

I would like to add a set of speakers to my 99 Standard. Any ideas of which manufacturer I should look at? My guess is that they would have to be mounted onto the handlebars somewhere. Has anyone reading this installed any to a Standard or Tourer?

I with there was a set of quality speakers for MC's.  There just aren't.  Try a good a set of bluetooth ear buds.

For all the good products on the market for small high quality speakers none seem to make it to the motorcycle arena.

Just my opinion.

Got a set from Show Chrome installed on my standard this year at Americade.  Blue tooth pairs with my phone so I can use GPS and hear my tunes up to 70mph

J&M amplified handlebar speakers, pricy but great quality. over 90 mph and they still blasting loud and crisp. prepare to shed close to 5 bills tho

Uniq Cycles speakers.

Great also at high speeds. Had 'em for years with a 150 watt power amp, excellent.
And not terribly pricey!

Helmet ear buds or helmet speakers. That way the folks who do not wish to hear your music....won't!

I wonder about any form of ear buds.   Not sure if legal in all states but I sure as heck would think twice about plugging my ears so I can't hear traffic.
