I've seen those videos before.  There is a lot of truth in them Smiley

In 2005 I attended by invitation a sound seminar by the AMA.  The AMA was concerned by straight pipes but took a muted stand (pun intended) at the time.  There was a HD 'badass' that parked his bike at the entrance to the hotel so he could rev the crap out of it just for the helluva it.

Sometime before I attended the forum there was another " badass'  that would roar past my house just when my sick wife got to sleep.  I HATE loud pipes!
 
 Later, I was interviewed by a columnist for the New York Times.  The columnist was a woman rider so she knew motorcycles.  Here is the excerpt.
