The day I bought and took possession, of my Valkyrie I quit drinking. OK! I still went out on the week ends to the local lounge, to socialize with friends. I was drinking ginger ale or coke, well do to all the sugar in it, it had adverse reaction, I guess blood sugar imbalance. So I went to nonalcoholic beer, like Nordic, Excel or O'Doul's Amber. Well the thing is, when I drink regular beer everything is normal, but when I drink the nonalcoholic beer, no  exaggeration I wizz about every 5min., and it gets literally embarrassing, naturally the guys get their diggs in, that don't help. And it only happens when I drink nonalcoholic beer. So of course common sense tell me to don't drink at all.  Now any knowledgeable people out there with any information, for the reason. I am assuming my body is sort of telling me, it is poison to my system and dumping it. So, What do you think!

I gave up drinking once in 1985 for a year.  Long story, it was because of the church we went to in England.

After that year my cholesterol went up and blood pressure.  So, since I quit to please some people (not the Lord). I went back to my occaisonal beer and all was well inside and with the Lord.

I do not have even one if there is a possibility of being on the motorcycle however!

I use to ride with several guys, but they always seem to want to go to, bar to bar, so I quit that!

You want to hear something crazy!! I run into this, guy named Bernie, he's a nice guy! He mentioned he quit drinking, I know he is alcoholic, I said Congrads. He said he had to blow into a machine at a certain time of the day, I asked him why, I knew he didn't drive, so why was he doing that. We live off Lake St Clair and there is a couple of waterfront parks, well there is no alcohol allowed. He was there and got caught by he County Sheriff and kind of when through the  DUI thing, without driving. But got nailed for it. WOW!

You could ride over a bump in the road and all the ice cubes would fly out of your drink!  Grin

Non-Alcohol is still 1/2%, But is that what a beer cost in a bar now, boy it has been a long time for me. I hope that $5 includes a table dance, prime rib with onion soup and garlic bread and chocolate moose for desert.

Our club has $3 steak night and I must say its the best steak I've had. This and a water and 2 table dances is only $5.  Grin

Slightly different. Used to keep Pepsi in the house-the real stuff-NOT diet. Not EVERY night but about every third night 2 12oz Pepsi's with supper. Get up 2 or 3 times during my "sleep" cycle and have to drain the lizard. If I drink an equal amount of beer or milk-24 ozs-I sleep all night. I don't keep Pepsi in the house anymore BUT I have been known to get a Pepsi with my meal at Taco Bell. Look at ALL the ingredients on your non-alcohol "beer" and if you can't pronounce it DO NOT put it in yer body! Our American beer in Japan had formaldehyde In it in the early 60s. That's WHEN I developed my taste for Japanese beer then. Some chemical in that non alcoholic beer MIGHT be acting like a diuretic. RIDE SAFE.

Some ingredients  have adverse reactions on different people. I drank an O'doules and had the same problem . When I have a beer , it is usually a Heinenken or similar.  Pabst , Jax ,Miller are some that I will not drink. They give me a headache with just one. I also do not like the taste.
  To each their own.

Thats why I quit doing poker runs even if they were for charity. The all got to where they were bar to bar. Then there were those people that on every stop had a beer in each hand. 4 stops and 8+ beers later, well,  would you ride with these guys.  I would riding up front or in the way back. Then after a few issues because of this I decided it wasn't worth it at all and quit going.
I'm not holier than now and I don't care who drinks / drugs and rides I just don't want to be in their problem. It's not if, it's when?
As for the original question. Some of this "fake beer" is made different from the original but still may be a more concentrated diuretic making you whizzz more. Or, you r body won't tolerate some of the ingredients and it just plain gettin rid of em?
