That's kinda unheard of up here.
Rolled out at 9:30 heading to northwest CT., for a RTE at Toymaker's Cafe.
Nice little mom-n-pop place near the NY border. The owner/chef has a barn full of english bikes he restores/collects. They close the restaurant down at 2pm, and if you're lucky he'll take you for a tour in the barn.
When I pulled into the lot, there was mostly Beemers, sport tourers, and adventure riding bikes, but I spied 1 Valk. Nice guy, John from R.I.
Had lunch, kicked some tires and headed home about 2. I had no intention of getting home anytime before dark, so I had to detour twice to extend the ride.
Was a great ride, saw 8 Santa Clauses riding their bikes too!
Think this is the latest December ride I ever did.
OK, bring on the snow, I need riding $$$ for next summer!

That's great, always a bonus when you can extend the season with unexpected warmer weather.  cooldude Supposed to be a warm winter here in SW BC...now if we can only get those monsoon rains to stop   Smiley

Agree was 58 degrees today in WI, unheard of.  If ONLY it wasn't raining all day long with our sump pump running every 30 seconds.

Could you imagine if all this rain would be snow??  Am sure over 2 feet of the white stuff.

Going to get back to normal cold temps later this coming week finally will put up the Valk for it's long winter nap next few days.     Cry

I was able to wash Phatt Ghurl Friday. I rode her Saturday for my 2 P G R missions BUT-THAT word again-the roads never did dry out Saturday even though it was warm. EVERYTHING below the tank/seat line is filthy again due to the wet roads.  Undecided And that is the WHY of soap and water and wax and polish!  2funny Time I got back home  I'd rolled 201 miles.   coolsmiley Tween Thursday and Saturday I put a bit over 451 miles on her. Did NOT ride Friday.  Cry Gonna be damp and chilly here next coupla days.  crazy2 Goofy assed stretch of weather here lately-BUT if nice enough too ride I WILL ride!  cooldude  RIDE SAFE.
