Ok, now I don't feel so bad about my scenario. I couldn't find my 1/4" nut driver, it was part of a set and needed it to release some small hose clamps. Looked high and low....but not in between, to no avail. So, went and bought a replacement. When done using it I started to put it in the drawer where all my metric tools are....guess what else I found in the metric drawer?   Angry

I am relived that others are having the same problem as I. I was starting to think my "safe place" is a 4th dimensional black hole probably next to the missing sock worm hole. Things are put in this safe place, only to disappear and reappear as if magic. By the way, if you find my leatherman, car keys or my wedding ring, give me a call. Thanks

My metric box/open end wrench set came up missing after the Mo. F C R.  Undecided After going thru the bags on my I/S a few times AND looking high and low in the garage AND calling the motel to see IF they had found them all to no avail it turns out.  Embarrassed Soooooo today after my ride I'm moving some "stuff" around and a cardboard box is suspiciously heavy!  Lips Sealed YUP-the "heavy" in that cardboard box was the "missing" box/open metric wrench set!  uglystupid2 What the hell were we talkin bout??  Roll Eyes  Don't EVEN ask bout my jewelers screwdrivers that are SUPPOSED to be in the house for tuning up my eyeglasses!  tickedoff RIDE SAFE.

Gave it to the wife  to take to the jeweler to get fixed . We use the same safe place. It's only been a year so it should reappear in the next six months.
