Regardless of the current situation, the government should NOT own this much land, it needs to go back to the people. Heck, auction it off, the government likes money!  This goes back to the other post where it was said that the gov't is here to protect us against ourselves regarding over fishing and hunting etc. The western part of the country comprises more, and larger national parks that, we were told (or I remember hearing), were created to save the wildlife within the parks as well as over deforestation, etc. The same gov't that destroyed the buffalo population in hopes of starving the indians. |

Yes but do they allow liberal hunters on their land ?  Can't speak for all of 'em, and my land doesn't have any game unless you're after armadillo or snake, but I've had many leftists, communists, socialists, union members and supporters, full blown Obama (pbuh) supporters, even had an Obama (pbuh) convention delegate alternate who used her "Obama 2008" bag as a range bag, I've given informal introduction to firearms, shooting and firearm safety classes for local gay and lesbian groups many times as well. *Shrug* It was a joke Serk.  The problem with political jokes is that all too often they get elected.  (And I know it was a joke... ) |

I've got mixed feelings on this one. I generally feel like the less government the better, but its kind of nice to be able to hiking or shooting pretty much anywhere I want to. -RP |

Listening to several on MSNBC calling for armed Guard to go in, with tanks if necessary, and violently take it over. Sounds like they want a LOT KIA.
That's just wrong. They should just be completely ignored. They'll become yesterday's news and will end up slinking home, just like they did with Papa Bundy's adventure. Don't they have jobs? I agree. Wait them out. Jobs? What does that have to do with it. At least they are not demanding free chit from the rest of us!
