After asking for a referral for carburetor syncing, BigBF was recommended by several.  And he did the work on my 99 Valk. by rebuilding the carburetors.  I just can't say enough good things about  the quality of work he does,  and I highly recommend him for any work you need on your Valk!  While he had the carbs out he recommended an electric shutoff for the gas to prevent hydrolock.  I was on a short time frame during the holidays to get the work completed.  He kept me advised all along of his progress and finished on time and within budget.  This was the first major carb work that was done on my 99.  When it was cranked up right away I could tell the difference.  On the way home I of course had a chance to open her up. Wow Wow Wow!!! It felt like she had 30% more horse power and ran the best she has ever run, smooth and powerful.  It has been a couple of weeks and I still can't wipe the smile off my face.  :)  I can't thank BigBf enough for his expertise and skill in the rebuild of my carbs.  This experience totally exceeded my expectations.

Yea he does Great work. Been working on my Valks for years now. My Newest one (to me) I believe was on the rack while yours was done.

BigBF:
Larry, Yah you're welcome!
At first you asked about carb sync. And when I checked your Valk, I definetly knew the carb was bad and must have complete overhaul....
I just wish Arizona would allow to sell no ethanol gas at gas pump station. In Oklahoma they sell without ethanol... I can see the different. When I work on Valk at my parents (3 of Valk with carb work) after overhaul the carburetors and I can feel it was not that great so I dump gas out and put no ethanol gas in and it was kind of big different.... Interesting... Oh well I guess Arizona state have no respect for carburetors owners....

On my way back home from Tulsa and I was filling up the diesel in my truck out west of Oklahoma state I saw label show 5% bio-diesel blend which I never notice that before and in summer. After I drove out about 15-20 miles later I notice a bit of lack of power and after while I also notice my mpg was dropping jeez. I was hauling the whole weight 20,000 lbs. I got in Texas and need more diesel and saw label show 5% to 20% Bio-Diesel blend I was like WTF? So I fill up and drove and more mpg dropping... It was average 11-12 mpg with trailer now it went down to 6.1 mpg arghhh finally found no bio-diesel blend in NM. And it's starting gaining the mpg until I got home it was 10.8. So I thought ethanol and bio-diesel blend was stupid idea to mix with fuels....
