 Thanks everyone for the prayers and well wishes. This all started last may when I went in to see my family doc for a cold. During the exam he looked at my chart and said " you have been on Aleve for awhile now, I want to do a blood test to make sure your kidneys are ok". So he did. He didnt like the results so he told me to stop taking Aleve and take another test in a couple of months. Had another blood test a couple of months later. The results were still to high. He sent me to a Kidney specialist. They have taken numerous blood and urine test. They found excessive protene and some blood in my pee. My blood pressure was a little high so I am on high blood pressure meds and he also put me on a bata blocker for some edema. I felt ok all these months but lately I have had some pain in my lower right back. It moved to the front. No bad just a ache. He wants to do a CAT scan to make sure I dont have a stone. I go in for that tonight. After that he wants to do a Kidney Biopsy. Not looking forward to that but he needs to do these test to see what the next step is. He thinks I have Bergers (not the correct spelling) deseese but wants to make sure. If the meds dont get the numbers under control I may have to do dialisis. That scares that crap out of me. Twila says take it one step at a time. So I will see in a few days what the prognosis is. Thanks again everyone. I will keep you all posted.........

Wow! Sorry to hear, but I agree with Twila. Take it one step at a time. We're all pulling for you.

Prolly a stone is right.  Twila's a smart one......  One step at a time.  Take care of yourself.  Lower your BP by exercise (even just walking every night), and losing some serious weight.  I'm being blunt because you are my friend.  Smaller portions and walk!

Well Mark-I WILL keep the Prayers going for you and Twila.  Get yerself mucho better and do take it one day at a time.  Had I KNOWN I was gonna live this long!  RIDE SAFE.
