Hay guys, just wondering how the ones who converted to led headlights are working out? Also your take on which ones are the best bang for the buck! Considering changing to one, a little brighter light and a little easier on the old alternator! Thanks, much appreciated!

Being in Europe our only realistic choice is the eBay ones from China (isn't that where they are all made anyway).

I fitted one about 4 months ago. I seldom ride at night. The colour is much whiter than a normal bulb and the guys I ride with say it is more visible so that is a win for me. The bulb may suck less power but don't forget they do have a fan on them so it does suck some watts but not as much as an incandescent bulb.

I am pleased with mine, it was easy to fit in that the fan is bayonet fitted to the bulb so the bulb can be fitted first and then the fan fitted to the back, I had to move the wiring and relays in the headlight bucket around a bit to get it all in as it is much longer than a normal bulb.

Was it worth it, yes to me it was. YMMV.

My brother-in-law just put the Cyclops LED headlight bulb in his tourer and he says it's incredible.  Says oncoming drivers occasionally flash headlights to see if they are high beams...when they are not.  Price is $65
