Don't give up on the Valk too soon. It's a heck of a bike. You can learn a lot by reading the Shop Talk section of the website.

There are a lot of knowledgeable folks on here that will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

I had two Valk Interstates at different times that both got totaled. I have a new 2013 F6b now but this is where I still hang my hat most of the time.

Welcome!

Hey where are the posts by Ravyn I see the opening post name, but no post, every time he posts the content doesn't come up. Someone had better tell him.  Shocked

Ravyn,
Since you didn't put you location down, I don't know where you're calling home but, wanted to make sure you know about the InZane event this year in Morgantown, WV.    I've attended several and plan on making it to this one.    Always a good time.

Heck, you could even ride the Wing, no one will care.   If you make it, I'll buy the first round (iced tea).   I highly recommend the early bird event if you can make it.    Be sure to seek me out if you can make it, I'm easily identifiable, I'll be riding a Valkyrie.   Wink

Well done.

You did it.

Now what?

It only took them 3 days to approve me ? Must have been doing an FBI back ground check on me.  Undecided
I have 13 motorcycles. Been riding for 55 years....yeah that's right, where the hell do all the years go so fast. This valk is new to me but my main touring ride is a 2002 Goldwing gl1800. This Valk is a 2003 with lots of chrome and accessories. And only 12,000 miles on it. I traded a 2011 Ural Patrol for it. I got the better motorcycle but he got the better deal monetary wise. I didn't care as I didn't like the Ural very much. Thought I would but NAHHHHH!  So I will be asking all the stupid newbie Valkyrie questions for awhile. Not to sure I am going to keep it yet, I have to many motorcycles as it is. I have put 90 miles on it since I got it 4 days ago. 60 miles yesterday and 30 miles the day before. Nice bike, not as smooth riding or as comfortable as the wing but nice just the same.  coolsmiley
