Over the years, I have had good luck with Rangers. The last one, a long bed, had 300,000+ on the clock, before it was going to cost more to repair than I was willing to put into it. I picked up a low milage Chevy Silverado work truck just before the new year so I could use it as a business deduction.

I hope it will be the last work truck I need.  ???

It's been awhile since I had to work, but I sure like having a truck for the times when you need to haul something, or tow something.  I will probly tow my bike on the really long trips, couple hundred miles on my bike are about all I need in a day at my age. I have a very serviceable  bike trailer.   cooldude  Hoser

Although a Ranger is too small for my needs, it is a very useful truck for 2 people/smaller people.  A guy at work had one and LOVED it was not huge, yet served it's truck purpose at a value budget as well.  It ran well many years for him as well until nickle and dimed him wasn't worth it any longer.  Not the fanciest, but gets the job done.

You don't need a 50K truck when a 5-10 grand truck will do just about the same thing and plus you don't get as upset when you put that first dent or scratch in.

that is why I have my old 2001 Valk,  although looks fairly well for it's age, it does have some scratches, most being there when I bought it in 2008 or so,  so don't really care if another scratch gets put into it that much.  If a new 20K goldwing, then would get much more upset.
