I was wondering through some old stuff in one of the 'folders' in my email account... and guess what? Yep, I found photos mysteriously placed where I probably never would otherwise have found them. Who would have thought it? Anyway, it occurred to me this might afford another little experiment for me into the murky world of cyberspace. I'm flying entirely solo this time, so no idea how it might turn out. The photos are of 'Shooters Grill' in Rifle, CO, taken on a ride last year with the Colorado riders... If those don't appear, then I'll need more coaching from Troutdude... I do have my doubts.   DDT P.S. No joy, it appears... sorry for the false alarm.  P.P.S. Still no joy... Maybe later... P.P.P.S. Dennis stopped by my room and provided additional instruction... This could be one of those EUREKA! moments... |

my pictures are my most valuable things. its the one thing we might be able to take with us {to the other side}
I take pictures sometimes just to help me remember my trips

Thanks for the encouragement, everybody! I ain't feeling cocky at all, and I am at least a couple of more lessons away from doing this solo after all... Still, it is a new toy for now, so who knows?
I went through a photography phase many years ago. I lugged around rolls and rolls of film, even bought an expensive camera, and I stopped often to take pics of whatever. I learned from all of that that I simply have no talent... like with so many other things, it turns out.
I finally figured out that the problem wasn't with me, though... it was with my audience! Yep, once I faced reality and limited my wares to my eyes only, the critiques, criticisms, and patronizing "It's OK, you'll eventually get it..." remarks all stopped! lol

Well today, as you know, we have digital cameras. There is a setting called "Auto" ...... set it there and you'll prove to be as talented as the rest of us!   |

WOW! Photos (well taken and posted!) really are an awesome addition to any storyline. Dang, I just have to learn how to do this. Seeing those photos is a stark reminder of one of the many, many reasons I love our bike so much. We're gonna ride through Big Bend NP today... another amazing cruise through this amazing land of ours!!!
I'm feeling plumb giddy again. Thanks for posting those photos, Terry... brought back some memories of a month well spent!!! And, the story that went with all of that adventure is as amazing as the background in your photos! Thanks for making it possible!
