She finally did it.  We grow our own herbs, well Judy grows them and I cook with them.  We have been unable to get a harvest of basil for the longest time, they just die out or get eaten by bugs, its really been bad.

Well yesterday Judy came in with a full basket of the best smelling basil I have ever smelled.  So I have to make good on my promise to make her my famous spinach pesto pizza.

I just got done grinding the basil leaves into a pesto sauce for the pizzas instead of tomato sauce and the dough is in the bread machine, got the feta and some spinach so its on for tonight!

then, piled high with spinach



cooked, all it needs now is a drizzle of balsamic vinegar

She grows mostly what she calls Italian basil, we tried the Thai but the leaves are tiny.  I like the Italian
