Is it a dumb idea to Loctite the header bolts? I'm kinda thinkin it is, or I wouldn't ask  :) Does anyone else have a problem with keeping those little buggers tight? Any solutions? I tightened them up, rode her for about 50 miles, and I can hear it start to leak again.
Remember folks, street lights timed for 35 mph are also timed for 70 mph

It's a process. Tighten/torque to 7 lbs. and ride, get em hot. Re-torque. Do this several times until no additional torque is required, should be fine.
If you can't be a good example: be a WARNING!!

Be patient Grasshopper, torque, ride, torque, ride, torque, ride, torque, ride, should be good to go now.

They have a squash gasket ring that you can not squish on the 1st few attempts.........

Do you torque them when they're hot or wait till it cools back off?
