Seeing the subject of this thread I'd been kinda avoiding actually looking in it.

I'm kinda wishing I hadn't.

My heart aches for your family right now, this story hits a little too close to home for me.

I wish I could offer something more than hollow words of comfort but please know Miya, you, your brother in law and the rest of those hurting from this incident will be in my thoughts.

Man,  so sad to hear, cannot imagine the heartache all are going thru.  I hope I never have a flat tire while riding my cycle and if so,  I am alone not with the misses on board.

Sort of similar to what happened this past weekend very nearby locally: 2 were on a cycle and cycle driver hit a minivan head on crossing the centerline no helmet on either.   Both died but to make it even worse, the parent of one of the cyclists was following behind in his vehicle and saw it all first hand.   Cry

I have a granddaughter who will turn seven in September.  I cannot imagine the anguish this family must be experiencing.  May the Good Lord see them through it.  Praying for a miracle.

Very sorry and do hope with all my heart that she recovers. I've been lucky,I did the same and had a blowout at 70 mph with my wife onboard. I had no trouble getting the Valk stopped. Very lucky and it's another reason I quit riding. God help the little girl.

Her funeral was on Friday, it was huge. 2 miles of cars. She was well loved. I haven't been on here much. Sorry. Thanks for all the kind words.

I can't imagine what your family is going through, what your brother in law must feel. I pray he will find a way to cope. Many of us take our kids and grandkids for rides and so we feel a portion of the shock and horror of the situation.

I wish (your VRCC family) could have attended the funeral and supported you and yours, maybe we could have made the precession another two miles long. I know I would have been there in a heart beat.

Still praying for you and family to find a way to cope and heal.   Firefighter

I can't begin to imagine these roughest times in your family.   Condolences seem inadequate.

Prayers for all and prayers for healing.
