You know I find it sad that our country has come to this point. While I know our founding fathers were not perfect people, what they managed (along with those who fought for the cause) to accomplish was extrodinary.
This country was founded on the premis of as little government intrusion in our lives as possible.
We were suppose to be a people who worked, worked hard to get ahead, helped our neighbors when asked and basically minded our own business in work and private. At no time were we suppose to give money away to pretty much anyone that asked or pumped out too many rug rats or had a limp.
I met a 94 yr old man on Wednesday and he said "When I was younger we never would have thought there would be communists running around this country as they are now" he went on to say something I've thought for quite a few years now that Sen. McCarthy had the right idea and had some foresight.
The Clintons have manipulated themselves into the place they are now and people don't care about the lies or anything else.
Progress as a nation is one thing but this progressive/liberal movement is not where we should be heading. It's no longer Democrat vs Republican, it's Liberal/Progressive vs Constitutionalist, those who believe in The Constitution and those who want to rewrite it to suit their agenda foresaking everything that built this country.
They will be coming after the 2nd Admendment. They will continue to pass laws to make it more and more difficult to buy ammo and within 30 years or so it will be almost impossible to buy a hand gun. The new world order will see to that. Justice Scalia was assinated "they had him killed", because "they expect HC to win the election and begin appointing new justices and if she doesn't win, he is still out of the way and any nominations will need to be approved.
HC is the character Angela Landsbury played in the Manchurian Candidate only worse, she can possibly be the next POTUS.
Well I've got a couple issues with your post. First off McCarthy was not good for our country. Many innocent people were hurt and our reputation tarnished because of this man.
Second, there were probably more "communists running around" in the 30's than there is now even though the population is almost doubled.
Third, I'm assuming you meant assassinated instead of assinated. I don't know if Scalia was into that sort of thing or not. Nor do I care. But for all the nutjobs here that really believe the Clintons had Scalia killed, I don't know what to say to other than you are freaking crazy.
Fourth, the Amendments of the Constitution cannot just be "rewritten". There is a procedure, and it is very hard to do.
Other than that I thought it was a decent post.

Assinated...that's funny, you're right, I was wrong. My wife's been telling me I need to wear my glasses when I'm using my iPad to send messages.
As for the other stuff, there's too many places I can start with the "communism" issue. Perhaps it was when all the PC BS started back in the '80's. Perhaps it was when people decided life was suppose to fair or when it was decided everyone should get a trophy because winners were bad and we shouldn't play organized sports to win.
I didn't say McCarthy's approach to things was right or that they didn't go in the wrong direction at times, all I said was he had the right idea as did the 94 year old man (who btw) was incredibly sharp.
As for the gun issue and the 2nb, repealing an Admendment may never actually happen, but it can't stop them from creating more and more legislation to make it more difficult for citizens to purchase firearms as well as ammo, not to mention the legislation they can pass to prohibit dealers to pay for licenses, insurance and whatever else they can tax the small business guy.
Finally, Scalia was assassinated, call me crazy, call me a conspiracy nut, it doesn't matter. They're are too many outside factors that certainly point to that. Just look at where they gun issue is now. Just look at what the world opinion is, outsiders do not want our citizens armed and there is plenty of opinions out there. With Scalia gone, the SC is up for grabs for decades to come. His seat needs to be filled and there are more justices that will need to be replaced soon. The wheels are in motion, just appointing a left leaning justice to replace Scalia changes the game on issues concerning the 2nd. We need justices who will stand by, protect and preserve The Constitution.
