Weekend in Mammoth Lakes

We took off this morning at 4:40am to beat the heat. It wasn't too bad till we got to Lone Pine then I started getting warm. Finally got here and unloaded 2 tons out of the trailer and set the tent up. And this is Brenda face booking .  I'm going to pop a beer.

Thanks Dave. Brenda is excited and scared about going up in the gondola to the top of the mountain tomorrow. See you in a couple months.

Ride safe Rob, maybe we'll see each other on the road. My buddy and I are heading out tomorrow morning, staying in Fallon, NV tomorrow night, then onto Portland, OR on Saturday. We'll ride the Olympic Peninsula, Mt.Rainier, Mt. Hood and the Columbia River Gorge, then head down the coast to CA. Since we've got you beat by a couple of years, our camping will be Holiday Inn style. Give my best to Brenda.

Forgot to mention, I'm riding the Valk and my buddy has an old ST1100. You meet the nicest people on a Honda.

Hey George

I did that ride 3 years ago and it was wonderful. We had rain every morning, but by noon it would clear off. I would like to do that ride again. Hope you have good weather and a great ride.
