a very moral person
Whoa there Cowboy, you just opened a big can of worms. Morals vary from region to region, nation to nation, culture to culture and person to person. What you consider moral may be offensive to me. The rest of your list is dependent on your definition of the first. Whether you're comparing George Bush, Obama, Clinton or Trump to yourself. That same comparison to myself may provide a whole different outcome based on perspective and morals of the viewer. IOWs, not everyone shares the same morals.

There is good in most people. Some just can't bring themselves to see it. Thanks for the ethics and civility lesson. 2) Obama has a great sense of style, and is a sharp dresser.

One thing we, our children and their children will have to watch out for is history being re-written. Our current crop of politicians are trying to do that on live tv sometimes, telling us that what we just saw and heard is not what we saw and heard.
Exactly, John. I'm reposting the link to Bill Whittle's explanation of Obama's extensive use of "gaslighting". The term for what you describe in your last sentence above. Heavily used by sociopaths - which Obama is a textbook example. No I'm not a shrink nor do I play one anywhere. Don't have to be the head cashier at Walmart to call a duck a duck. From wikipedia: "Sociopaths and narcissists frequently use gaslighting tactics. Sociopaths consistently transgress social mores, break laws, and exploit others, but typically are also charming and convincing liars who consistently deny wrongdoing. Thus, some who have been victimized by sociopaths may doubt their perceptions." Stout, Martha (2006-03-14). The Sociopath Next Door. Random House Digital. pp. 94–95. ISBN 978-0-7679-1582-3. Meathead, you misunderstood. My feelings about flag burning goes back before Obama. I was making a separate statement to clarify my previous thought. You don't get a 'gotcha' on that one I am glad I misunderstood you in this case then. Humor me then Wayne. Name 5 things you like about Obama or that you think he has done right. I will start by naming 5 things in regards to George W. Bush (who I disagree with almost entirely) 1) I think he is a very moral person who has always tried to do the right thing. 2) I like that he has not immersed himself in mud slinging politics after his terms. 3) I think he is a good Dad, husband, and son. 4) I think is not dumb as he seemed to appear sometimes with his twisting of words. 5) I think he had and has the best intentions for our country. I'll play. 1) I think Obama is very cunning, and he is fundamentally changing America just as he said he would. Hmmm. I guess my list stops there. There is good in most people. Some just can't bring themselves to see it. I agree that there is good in most people. Obama is the exception in my book. To me he has no redeeming social value. He is a charlatan who took advantage (ok, maybe that is his positive) of a weak people to rise to power to weaken a once great nation so that hew could advance himself to a more global position. Yes, I think his next move will be to the UN. No, I wasn't a great fan of Mr. Bush either.

The same can be done for Hilliary. I'm sure she has some redeeming qualities.
1. She loves her daughter and grand daughter 2. She knows how to fleece millions from banks, universities, and foreign governments 3. She can hug Bill and smile at the same time 4. She is single handed keepng one pantsuit mfg in business providing jobs for undocumented alien workers 5. I know there are more, I just have drawn a blank for now

History will show Obama to be one of the best Presidents this country has had in modern times.
I hate to ask since I normally skip political discussion, but what has O done to deserve that ranking? I'm not being a smarta$$, I'd just like to know why you believe what you do.

I quit reading after health care reform. What a cluster-f*ck. Even I will admit something needed to be done, but this was the worst solution possible.

Among his many 'accomplishments' is the exact opposite of Teddy Roosevelt's "Speak Softly and Carry a Big Stick"
Obama is "Speak Loudly and carry a small stick" The 'small'' stick makes it easier to draw a series of lines in the sand.
I couldn't resist. Of course Teddy meant a big Armed Forces. Obama doesn't believe in that.
Yes, Baldo, he has really changed our country.............For The Worse!
We'll have to agree to disagree on that score, Wayne. History will show Obama to be one of the best Presidents this country has had in modern times. And yes, I fully realize that 99% of the members of this forum will find this completely unacceptable. We'll just have to see what we will see, won't we? The president who while in office has seen the country have more street riots since the 60's.

He saw the country through the Great Recession, got us out of Iraq, passed health care reform, and is aggressively moving to address climate change. Really? You honestly really agree with the points above taken from the link you provided?
