So when are you moving out of the country? I do know where there is a plane that will take you anywhere you want to go with a one way ticket.  cooldude

Also handling a situation correctly and well, speaks to the intelligence and decorum of the man, Putting him into that situation at all, speaks of the ignorance, and lack of compassion. The cast said they had one shot, it would have been so nice to care about another individual to be gracious and caring and not put him in the spot to have to answer.

I hope one day when someone who has these actors and producers lives in their hands and thinks to himself, I have one shot to show this person something that they would reflect on this incident.

Sorry Robert, never accepted a handout, not taking yours.
As far as leaving this country, not planning on doing that either.  See, that would be the easy way out.
So, what ARE my plans?
Simple.
To fight against every deplorable thing that bigoted, racist, xenophobic, homophobic, misogynistic rat haired twit attempts to do on every legal arena I can.
To the other member who chided me about how hard the next year's are going to be  ( sorry, you made such an impression on me I failed to remember your name) I care not how hard it will be.
To the other members who started in with the liberal this, or liberal that, thanks for supporting my ability to decide what is right for myself.  Thanks for putting me in a neat, little compartment and making yourself so comfortable.
Is Donny boy the President elect?   How stupid do you believe me to be?  But here's my point, clear and simple.
Donny does not represent my values
Donny does not represent my core beliefs
Donny won this election through fear and hate mongering.
As such, he will forever remain

I understand how you feel,  I've felt the same for the last 8 years.

Well you are using # on a valkyrie site. Wasn't aware this was tied to the twitter feed. And you lost me at Donny boy. I'm pretty sure no one named Donny won the election. Good luck with your fight though, it's gonna be a long 4 years for you.
Like I have stated before, I know Mr. Pence personally and he is nothing you make him out to be. Robert is much closer than you. He also rides  cooldude

Hopefully at the end of 4 years your attitude will have changed. I doubt you have to fight the things you talk about. I doubt its a fight that is needed since I dont think anyone will disagree and not want the things you have listed in your post. Its not me against the world, its more like how do we make this happen. Obama was a much more screw everyone and full steam head type of guy than I think Trump could ever be. That is the real rub, Obama has decimated the middle class, shredded the constitution and not made the economic conditions better for most. That is by the numbers not by opinion, transparency is non exsistant and fairness for all those that Obama preached about cannot come by destruction of the middle class. Fairness and equality if not for all is for no one. Obama could have given a rats a@@ about anyone. Hillary would have been the same way, So how is it that you can say not my pres when your fellow citizens are suffering and not having a good time of things while the 1%ers are getting bigger and bigger? That is inequality, that is not fair, that is not supporting all. Yet you can not want things to change, how does that work that you care more for those who are getting handouts than those who are being taken from and fleeced when they work everyday just to make ends meet. Sounds like communism to me.

Personally, I look at this election slightly differently.   Hillary Lost This Election and for that, I'm doing a Happy Dance.     2funny  There were several other candidates I would have preferred to Trump but, wasn't given that choice.    Anyone but Clinton.    Well, honestly Sanders was never in the running either, just ask the DNC.    coolsmiley

BTW, I'm the guy that said you're gonna have a tough four years ahead of you with your attitude.   Please try to remember my screen name.   I'm sensitive that way.   Wink   Or, you could call me by my other Official Name.   Officially Recognized PITA.   Wink

Just so you know, I still don't like Trump but, I despise Clinton and everything she stands for.   I don't know if President Elect Trump will be good, great or just there.

But I'd rather have the unknown than that lying con-artist, thief and traitor Hillary Clinton.

As passionate as you are against President Elect Trump, I assure you, myself and most of the rest of the electorate despise Hillary more.   If that wasn't true, she'd most likely be President Elect.

I do have one query for you though.   You state (pretty emphatically) that Trump does not represent your values.   Does this mean Hillary Clinton does?    Or, should I say did?

And, just as a repost:

Quote
On Thursday, Judge John Primomo told the diverse group about Donald Trump's election victory, "I can assure you that whether you voted for him or you did not vote for him, if you are a citizen of the United States, he is your president. And he will be your president and if you do not like that, you need to go to another country."

As I've stated many times, I truly am not a Trump fan and to be very honest, don't believe he was the best candidate from those available but, it is, what it is.   He won and he is our President Elect.

What I'd like to ask those who supported the other side, is why and what do you think led up to his election.   It surely wasn't his personality, nor was it his experience as a politician.

Let me offer my own opinion.   I believe Donald Trumps election is a direct result of what the Liberal Left, The Democratic Party, Barrack Obama, Dirty Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, Barbara Boxer, Al Sharpton and Bill Clinton along with quite a few other Dems and some Republicans have done over the last 20 or so years.   You seem so surprised that those who have not been heard or listened to voted for a radical change versus more of what we have been fed for your entire tenure in leadership positions.

Forcing their Liberal agenda down Conservative throats, force feeding us their far left agenda.    Telling us that we have to go with something and can read it later.    Giving away American jobs to other countries.   Not protecting our borders, taxing middle America almost out of existence and so many other issues.   Basically, not taking care of Americans.    Obama wanted and demanded the ACA (Obama Care), he told us in his state of the Union address that he had the votes and..............    Even with such staunch opposition, the Dems were determined to get their way.    Did you not expect this, obviously not.   Actions and lack of actions have consequences you know............

Seriously, what did you expect?    Even if Hillary had won, it would have been close and, would that not tell you that there was at least half a nation unhappy with where we're going?

There is a middle ground.  While a left leaning middle ground would have been unsavory, it would not have brought about the same results that you saw during this election cycle.   I don't expect Obama Care to be totally repealed but, I do expect significant changes.    What I do hope is the Republican majority and executive branch approach each and every change with caution, seriously consider and  remember what drove the dramatic results of this election.   Leading from the far right or far left will only guarantee they are thrown out of office at the next election.

Seriously, what did hell did you expect?   More of the same.   I sincerely believe more of the same would have eventually led to a bloody and painful result.    Depending on how the people in power lead, that could still happen.   But, when I look at the what and why this happened, I put blame squarely on the left.   Donald Trump would have and should have not won but, the nation had had enough and spoke.     Again, I ask, what the hell were you thinking?

So, tell me, in your opinion, why did this happen?   I've already said what I think a few posts above.

All it tells me about you is that you do not believe in our Laws and in our Constitution.  Much as I dislike Obama's policies, not him personally, he IS my President.  So is Trump.

To say anyone is NOT their President, means they do not believe in our Consitution or Laws.  But, the Left is proving a lot do not.

Got no problem with a differing opinion.   But, based on this posting, I have to assume you don't like mine.   You're either not reading them or unwilling (or as I see it) or afraid to discuss my questions.

Either way, I'm Rams (please try to remember) and while I'm not a Trump fan, I despise Clinton, her lies, her thieving ways, her traitorous acts against the American people and her plan for where she wanted to take us (supposedly).      Tell me this, had she won, she'd need to appoint a few new Ambassadors, you willing to take one of them?

Let's not waste each other's time, if you're not going to do anything but throw insults (I realize you're not the only guilty party concerning the insults) and not discuss this in an adult manner, just let me know.   I'll quit asking questions.

So, if you won't respond to any of my questions, all I can say is, SUCK IT UP CUPCAKE, I had to the last 8 years.  Wink

Remember Obama having supper over at the leader of the Weather

I'm sure you don't think anyone here is pro-nazi, and I'm sure you don't

There are things in life that require courage.  Spouting off on a message board is not one of them.

As I've said before we are given the privilege of being one vote in the mass that selects the President of the United States.  We are not given the option of selecting a president for ourselves.

"Not my president."   It wasn't acceptable referring to Barrack Obama and it is not acceptable referring to Donald Trump.  The people (as a whole) have the responsibility of selecting the president.

Why do you think it pisses anyone off?  Just how courageous are you? Just how committed are you?  Do you really have such strong convictions? Surely everyone that agrees with you will be going out and having your hash tag message tattooed on their forehead. Now that would be commitment. Coming to this board and spouting off doesn't take any of the above, just the enjoyment of stirring the pot. The only thing we have right now is the hope that with the upheaval in politics as usual we will see some positive change.

Tattooed on my forehead?
Thanks no, I'm not a Nazi nor skin head.
Committed?  I'm still here, arguing my point.  If differing opinions is stirring the pot, well I guess I am.
If you don't like my opinions, don't read them.
[/quote]

Well those nazi's and skinheads are committed! So you are mostly rehetoric? All that stuff you spouted about "Donnie" sure sounds like a hate group. You belong to one or are you starting one? Either way I will continue to read what I want without your permission or need to comment.

Yep. Barack is my president, whose policies I do not like.

How can one believe in the Constitution, yet disallow the results of voting under it? Beats me.

Still, no answer to Rams question.

I do have one query for you though.   You state (pretty emphatically) that Trump does not represent your values.   Does this mean Hillary Clinton does?

Ya, sorry, working so kinda had to be off the grid.
(Wonder how that's going to be used against me)
And as on other member so eloquently stated, I'll choose who I read and who I answer with out permission from anybody.
Since I'm not independently wealthy and still have to work on the AM,  I'll wish you a good night.

Just one other differing opinion before I say night night

Differing opinion? More like demented opinion. Olbermann? Pretty much a self absorbed moron with a God complex. And a Dolt.

Using Olbermann as a source about Trump, is like having Karl Marx critique the Tea Party!

I have this  theory that when confronted with an opinion,  other than their own Trumpers would rather attach then spend 5 seconds thinking about what was said.
Thank you for proving my theory.
Off to work.

Gee, I guess that would make us exactly like liberals.  Maybe we can at least have that in common.
