interesting reading up on rear tires put on front installed in reverse arrow pointing.  I assume the michelin commander II rear tire installed on front would be same direction then as the michelin active pilot?

I guess I should do a search since I thought a long while ago someone posted on here that they ran a michelin commander II rear tire on the front?  Either michelin rear tire should work right?

decisions, decisions soon?   Roll Eyes

It's quite simple. I took my front wheel off today to get it ready for the new tire to be mounted. I put both tires together side by side with both arrows pointing forward in the same direction. I then looked at the tread pattern and noticed it was backwards on the new tire. So I spun it around and the tread pattern matched. This is why rear tires are run backwards on the front.

Also, the written word on this subject talks about cord/belt stacking under hard breaking if you don't run reversed.

I ran mine reversed.

When I had it put on at the shop, their lead tech confirmed rears on front should be reversed.

Just replaced my front Shinko Journey with a new one.

9,500 miles of mountain riding.  cooldude

Nice even wear across the tire at a constant 42psi.
