Even if it were true, perfectly legal:

BS, you need to listen to the Generals statement. He didn't deny it. He said Trump didn't divulge sources. That's not what he has been accused of.

It is perfectly legal for a President to himself deem whether something can be declassified . Are you ok with the President divulging secrets to the Russians that could damage our security ?

I shudder to imagine the deafening uproar if Obama had done this. Hell, for that matter, just about anything trump has done so far would have been met with constant and unending howls of outrage if Obama had done them.

Apparently none of the Trump haters bothered to read the article posted.

Quote
National Security Adviser HR McMaster dismissed the reporting as "false".

That was repeated three times in different manners but ignored by many.

Moreover it was information regarding an IS threat supposedly revealed to the Russians.  Even if it were true I would be OK with that.  The President  is the Chief Executive Officer, not the Secretary of State.  That was also true when Barrack Obama held the office.

I agree, If the "Classified" information revealed was nothing more than sharing of intelligence on new ISIS threats of security to the US & Russia, what is the problem with that?

If anything, I would take this as a stepping stone to improve the relationship with Russia.

Its getting to the point that I do not believe anything the press says. They have lost all credibility with me. They all race to be the first with the story and could care less if its true or not and in Trumps case if its demeaning or damaging, by all means , print first and ask questions later. I cancelled my sub to the local paper since they seem to take part in this free for all. This is just another example.

Absolutely!

I absolutely cannot understand why the Democrats seem to think that a good relationship between the United States and Russia is a "BAD" thing.

Ronald Reagan denounced the Soviet Union and worked behind the scenes to defeat them in Afghanistan. He also instrumented the fall of the Soviet Union.

Still, he understood the value of good relations with a strong adversary.

He and Mikhail Gorbachev became good friends and both countries benefitted from that.

Vladimir Putin may not be a saint but the President of Russia and the President of the United States having a good relationship and mutual respect for each other is a GOOD THING!

The US press is on a mission to destroy President Trump any way that they can.

They do not care if they destroy the entire country in the process.

The REAL reason that the press is so "Butt Hurt" over this is:

The Russian press was allowed at this meeting and the US press wasn't.

The story that is being reported is that Trump shared Top Secret info with the Russians. That was deemed so sensitive that we didn't even share it with our allies. Trump has tweeted this morning confirming as much. What part of the story are you saying the press is untrue ?

I believe Flynn repeated that the stories reported about him were false also. Don't you find it interesting that McMasters refutes claims that weren't even made ? Yet has nothing to say about what was actually reported. Now it seems his boss has undercut him with a tweet. Seems eerily similar to what he did with his Press people a couple days ago.

Trump tweeted that he did this for humanitarian purposes, and he also wants the Russians to fight Isis even more.  Also no methods or sources of this information where revealed, according to his tweet and the Wash. Post.    He also had McMasters and other intelligence in the room with him at the time.  And what was the information.   Oh that Isis was desperately and may have succeeded in building laptop bombs.  Isis has also state of the art scanner devices that are used by TSA in our airports in order to build these laptops so they will pass inspection.  Just maybe the Russians, and all the world would deem this most useful information ( hence humanitarian ) in order to protect passenger planes all about the world.  Oh my goodness that dastardly Trump looking out for the world.  How dare he.

The real story is who in the deep state leaked this out to the Washington Post.  That is a felony and treason and it may spell trouble for the Washington Post who has to step lightly as this is a felony also to leak this out to the public, at least all the particulars which they have not done as yet, if they even know.

New story gaining big traction is last years murder of Seth Rich who's family hired a private investigator to find out the truth of his strange death.  Seems it is all related to him arranging for the emails of the Democratic Party to Wiki Leaks.  I just learned a few minutes ago, not confirmed though, that a person in the DC Police dept. looked this investigator in the eye and told him Higher ups had deemed that this story was to be buried, that is the strange murder of Seth Rich, a dem. operative.

Like I said,,, you want to believe that he would compromise the USA,, go ahead. This whole "Russia" thing is a complete fabricated thing from the media that has their agenda all over it. You want to control a country, instill fear and distrust, and they are doing exactly that. And you are eating it up.

Heheh... I wonder *what* Trump has to do to make Republicans finally realize that he is unfit for the job.

It starts to sound like that woman that is in an abusive relationship but keeps finding excuses and justification for what the husband does to her (no matter what friends and family say to her).

" _ He beats me up, but he loves me. He said he is sorry!"
" _ Other man are even worst..."
" _ Oh, but if I love Donnie he will eventually change."

Trump lovers:
" _ He can't get anything done, but is not his fault! He also didn't meant what he just said and tweeted and next repeated in video!"
" _ Hillary is even worst..."
" _ It is all lies of the press! He is doing great!"

Yeah, yeah... right.

From the White House today.

"Last Wednesday, President Donald J. Trump met with the Russian Foreign Minister and discussed counterterrorism and the common civil aviation security threats to the United States and Russia. Senior cabinet and national security advisors were present at the exchange between the President and Foreign Minister and agree that the conversations were appropriate, legitimate, and an important part of America’s efforts to combat the global terrorist threat. At no time during the meeting were any sources, methods, or military operations jeopardized. Civil aviation threats are real and there is nothing more important to President Trump than the safety and security of the American people."

Anyone who is across the board opposed to everything done by the duly elected President of the United States needs to seriously examine his or her allegiance to the nation.  This is as true now as it was during the past eight years.

I truly miss the days when the unelected candidate in his concession speech would include a declaration that his opponent was now his president.  The essence of that declaration was that his allegiance to America and the lawful election process was superior to any American's allegiance to his own political party or their agenda.

I know you are retired and you probably still hold your license for your state. I bet your license is no good in florida or new york.  It's not amusing anymore, never really was. You don't have the slightest idea if he is mentally ill or not. Just like Hillary, she sure acts ill but I'm not going around telling everyone of the various disorders or illnesses she may or may not have.  coolsmiley

Ok so we have most major news outlets that are false news and totally against our President Trump. We have comedy shows that are perverse, insulting, towards Trump. We have Maxine Waters and a few others pushing for impeachment. We have the Democrats pushing Russia, and Coming out and saying they will not be cooperative. We have protests in the streets and demonstrators that are clueless, so many leaks in government that if it were a ship it would sink. We have FBI directors making AG decisions about prosecution and making decisions not to prosecute, and even a person under investigations husband meeting with the AG just to talk about the weather. Hillary, Obama, Soros trying to make schools to teach rebellion without history and so much more. The law and government is in a mess and people have lost confidence in the law and those that administer it. I believe its by design.

With this going on and trusted sources few and far between I have to wonder about the intelligence and sanity of those trying to argue a point against the president.  uglystupid2 crazy2 Who really has the true facts?

“ORDO AB CHAOS” – WHICH MEANS “OUT OF CHAOS COMES ORDER”

Its been 4 months and the noise and chaos sounds like 4 years. Give it a break, give him a break otherwise there are many that would love to see the system fail to usher in controls and systems that we would not like and will not recover from. It would be a fundamental change in the US and a system of government as we know it. There has been so much done and said that the truth is hard to find and will take some time to surface. But what damage will have been done by those who cannot access the truth from the chaos being taken as fact.

Will this be the way marshal law is declared and the constitution suspended and why all the rules were put in place? So we would get all fighting among ourselves without facts without truth spurred on by emotion?

Anyone still supporting this president really needs to Google
"the Dunning-Kruger effect ".

Well, we can agree on something.
