El Diablo !!!

Chi-town Burbs

« on: May 29, 2017, 03:42:08 PM »

Well, I finally got my bike back together, and after a 1000+ miles over the past 4 days (on a trip to Nashville and back) and a full wash and wax, I am proud to introduce El Diablo 2.0.

I have been working with a local powder coater and have had a number of parts done with an "ultra chrome" base and a candy red "Jolly Rancher Red" outer coat. It has that beautiful candy red look that I was looking for that matches the red paint and pinstripe when out in the sun.

I realize the look may not be for everyone, but I love the way to looks.

That is HOT!!!

What parts did you "Ultra Chrome" paint?

Oh, I see you used it as a base.  I misread it at first.

I like it.  Nice job. cooldude

Even better than before  cooldude Do they powdercoat a candy red right over the chrome pieces ? I think the gas tank filler and chrome stacks would look real good also.  cooldude

Nico , good to hear from you. Great looking bike. I haven't seen much from you lately. I sent an E-mail a while back to check on you. Are you and Mary going to be in Billings this year.

I like it although, I probably would have polished the wheel and coated the rotors. Nice work.  cooldude
