Thanks Rob, I don't disagree with you about the hypocrisy on both sides, however Science today has become largely politicized and less scientific. Weather here is hot, summer has finally arrived. I appreciate the invitation to the GC ride in September, but I have my Annual Cousins Reunion that month in San Diego. You and Brenda enjoy Alaska. Why don't you visit Shemya, where I was stationed in the USAF? It's Paradise out there!

dirt road but doable
one can see Mount Whitney AND badwater basin at the same time. one of my favorite places
California....... is like a granola bar after you take away the fruits, flakes and nuts
the only thing left is the crumbs , im from NJ feel free to "bust back"

prove the earth is "old"...... well I'll go with science over an old book about invisible friends

It takes a man of extraordinary faith to believe in mankind and his science over the Word of God. In College I was taught that they are not necessarily mutually exclusive. In fact I was taught they tend to compliment each other. Of course the radical left in American Academia today have largely abandoned any pretense of belief in God. They have arrived at the pinnacle of arrogance of mankind. very sad for the young skulls full of mush they indoctrinate.....my2cents, rick
[/quote]Rick, if I've learned anything on here. Religion is a sure fire way to have everybody pissed off. Probably even worse than talking about Obama. But since we are friends I'm sure we can talk freely. I have little more than a faith that there is a benevolent Lord looking out for us. Other than that, I can't say much about any religion. None have felt really completely right. I agree with you, science and religion are not mutually exclusive. But I also believe for every zealot in Academia and science, I'd bet there is at least the same amount of religious zealots too. Arrogance knows no bounds.
On a side note, how's the heat your way ? We get to escape for 2 weeks to AK.

One of my Harley buddies group (old man gang) is putting a weekend at Grand Canyon Caverns in September. He is all excited because they are going to burn 2 "jap bikes" this year. What's wrong with these Harley people ?

You should come.
