I looked at the OP's profile and his email was listed. I just sent him an email to let him know of the responses and BIG BF's offer to get it right. Told him he should check back here to see what advice had been given.
His name is Danny Herron in case anybody knows him.
Received an email back from Danny. He thanked me profusely, but obviously he never came back. Anyway, he said that he had worked out an agreement with that dealer on partes & labor and should be getting his Valk back next week. Not exactly what I would have done, but I don't know his situation either. By the tone of his email, he seems to be a good guy.
Well I live where he does and I would Not take a bike
There at anytime. I know many other places ti go before there.

ALCON,
I just wanted to say a great big THANKS to all who have written and who offered their fantastic support and well wished words of support. I  know all of you were expressing the issue of "get the bike" and I know all of you are absolutely correct. Unfortunately I travel on business quite a bit and several opportunities were not taken. But not to worry, I do so appreciate the words. I will also be getting my bike back this week. I do understand the issue of "pushing" the issue. I so understand , but I also know that I will never ever use them again nor will I ever support their dealership and will continue to state my position to any who will ask. Some of you have also stated that I was not  responding or reading the responses. For that misunderstanding I am sorry , but again you aren't aware of my status to being out and about. As I am currently working for the Gov't and cannot expand anymore than that, other than employment and the travel associated does not offer me time to either ride as often as I would like, nor to read you great words of support and enthusiasm. That's what lead to the issue in the first place. Also due to an "overseas excursion in Afghanistan" which allowed a resultant injury, I had seriously considered the sale of my treasure. But all is not lost, it's still mine and I am pretty sure that it will stay that way. I will reread your  support and will let you guys know what the outcome was. Thanks again to all.

Thanks for update.

If all is NOT well when you get it back, take BigBF up on his offer.  One of the best in the Valkyrie World!  He WILL get it right!

Yes, I had BF work on my IS last year and now my Tourer again this year. He is who you want to get things right. I'd get my bike back and never use that source or lack there of again.  uglystupid2 BF makes his yearly trip thru most area's of these 48 beautiful states. He is on FB also with his updates often and his plans to hit the next area. Good luck and welcome.  coolsmiley

Danny,
I apologize for getting on you about a lack of an update. I didn't know your circumstances and due to your relatively low number of posts, I thought you might be just passing through and trolling for an answer.
It does happen a lot here(see posts after mine) where good advice is given and then we never hear from the OP about whether a suggestion helped, or another method, etc.
Understand, issues like yours are a learning experience for all of us--IF we get feedback.

I truly hope your issue gets resolved to your satisfaction!

If not, BigBF is the answer. One way or another, you'll know if your bike is running right in time to catch BigBF on his way through your area.

Thanks WiggyDot...and everybody else,  actually
I appreciate all of your input as well...and I understand the issue of hit and miss...but some,  due to several different issues may or my not be able to get back, as of the as they may like, ....so maybe just a little bit of empathy can help! LOL! I will let all know when the issue is resolved. Unfortunately as I have noted already, I am not always on here, nor have the opportunity to get back as often as I would like. But I SO appreciate the feelings of my frustration, but I have had no issue in the past with these folks and perhaps was wishing too much on their behalf. But listen and learn. But they will never,  ever get my support bike purchase, maintenance or even a question of verbal support on their behalf. Again THANKS TO ALL. Have a super weekend and keep the rubber side down.
