I have MANY posts, as can be seen by the number below my Avatar. I have had some that I regret and wish I could take back. Not because I feel I was wrong, but because they added no useful insight. This might be one of them. My emotions got the better of me and I vented my complete disgust with our political situation.
 But, if anybody truly believes my thoughts and feelings are put out here to troll anybody, they are mistaken. You would be best to put me on your ignore list. Because in all honesty, I can not say that my thoughts and feelings will never bubble up to the surface again. I don't expect anybody to think the way I do, not do I wish to change them. May this thread die .

I figured out that you are an emotional guy some time ago.

What I see here is a man that values friendships over his political beliefs.

That means that your mind isn't completely closed.

Now don't get me wrong I don't see you becoming a member of the Tea Party.

But I do see a man that is willing to have a reasonable discussion of opossing viewpoints.

There's nothing wrong with that.

a rebellion seeks to take over by violent overthrow.   Its what communists do. Its what radical islam does including blowing up people, its what the 3rd reich tried to do,

However if someone says I am LEAVING that  means the persons or people want to go their own way without disturbing how the remaining people govern themselves.  

The fact that some may consider the entire confederacy traitors is not unreasonable in the abstract in one interpretation ( not mine )  as they did try to leave the union and those who had to resign their military careers and commissions to go back to their individual states did not do so lightly.  Remember STATES (Colonies) rights were there before FEDERAL rights and We The People have an inalienable right to decide how to run our country.

I do not for one moment believe that in leaving the union, those including Davis and Lee,  the most well known of the confederacy wished anyone in the union remaining any ill will.   To my readings, they wished to preserve their way of life, as foreign as that may be to us at this time.

I hope cooler heads prevail but I dont see that happening as long as the media is rabid but I have hope for my vrcc family

So that means you'll stand, as a patriot, with other REAL PATRIOTS who have ALWAYS wondered WHY we memorialize TRAITORS who fought in a bloody rebellion that has to be put down, at the cost of MILLIONS of lives, who fought for a cause which not only LOST but was and is, SOUNDLY disavowed.

 Actually the number was approximately 600,000 causalities.  Yes I understand that that was 600,000 to many but the Millions number just makes the point that you haven't much knowledge of American history.

Bill, first thank you. I understand he is our President and legally elected. I don't dispute that. What I was trying to convey was that I was pissed at her for being such a flawed candidate to let that happen. As far as his giving comfort to the White Supremists, there has just been too many instances of him letting them slide. I'm not sure if he is a racist or not. I am sure he wants their support. As to North Korea, I never felt they were going to send a missile at Guam to begin with. They have a long history of bluster, but contrary to what many think they are not stupid. Bill, I am okay with you feeling I'm wrong about Trump. Lord knows I've been wrong many times in the past and I'm sure I will in the future. What I'm glad about is that we can have such differences and still be friends and respect each other. That means a lot to me. Thank you.  

Head brother, I don't mean to pile on, but you opened a real can here.  Trump is our president, not only because of Hillary, but because of Obummer, palosii, reed, Albright, the media , and you and the libs.  You supported her, the demcrat party, And Obama.  We have been where you are for the last 8years, and we said over and over again, that enough is enough.  Obama and Clinton literally got away with murder, and their supporters accepted it.  Now Trump doesn't condemn skinheads strongly enough (not that there is anything wrong with skinheads), and the media and the left make out like he got four people killed in a gun running scheme gone bad, and then blamed it on a innocent US citizen.  We feel your pain, we have suffered these last 8 years.  You and yours need to give the man a chance.  Quit all the butthurtedness, and move on.

Edit. I forgot to address the letting it slide part, how do you explain the justice dept. investigations of police officers, charges before the facts are in, and not even attempting to prosecute BLM protestors, even after the false claims were proven to be just that.  Which administration let more slide?
