Remember when Tipper wanted to save us from language? Frank got a haircut and went to Washington. Shutting down speech was something we all once rallied against. We need to get back to that. I may not agree with what you are saying, but I'll defend your right to say it! Encourage dialogue if you really want to see progress. We see what the alternative is....... gov't stalemate, social divide, the rise of hate groups and violence. If you think this is a result of the last couple of years, you haven't been paying attention at all.

Every group believes in censorship in all venues. The arguments come from deciding who gets to draw the lines where. I have never found a single person who believes porn should be available in elementary libraries. Lines. Don't want people dressed in obscene outfits? Lines. Don't want guns in the hands of the public? Lines. Etc., etc., etc.

The argument boils down to "Hurray for my side".
