If this is all you have on Trump then he is doing a good job, especially since the problem is gone. Unlike Obama, Clinton and a few others that spent thousands on personal flights and didn't leave. Dont you have anything better to complain about?

Are you serious? I think he is. Can you imagine the uproar if Sebellius had burned thru a cool million dollars in her first 6 months ? Robert would be pissing himself he'd be so mad. Oh well, such is life now.

I am serious I will be happy to find all the giveaways and lost money under Obama. Can you say Solyndra, just to name one. Gone not 500.000 but 500,000,000 I can also go into 1 billion given to climate accord without the approval of Congress or anyone. ONE BILLION GONE. You know as well as I do that Obama believed in big government, big government costs money that was a fact under Obama.
I can also go into all the trips Hillary took and used government planes for personal use not to mention using them to try to get elected. So many others that have not gone reported on. So much waste of taxpayer dollars. Like remember the Secret Service party that the taxpayers paid for hookers and booze? Come on guys you cant be that hard up to open up a can of worms on a stupid point of a guy that already left the administration.
I was not happy under Obama when these things went on because they were pervasive and consistent. Not to mention no one, not one person was let go or penalized like we see in the Trump admin. Lois Lerner was not even fired in targeting conservative groups, or Benghazi when Hillary said whats the big deal or Valerie Jarrett moved into Obama's new DC home, the FBI revealing that the dad, maternal grandpa and father-in-law of President Obama’s trusted senior advisor were in fact hardcore Communists under investigation by the U.S. government. So no, I'm not happy about it but I would say Trump has a long way to go before he reaches a level that Obama did.
But if you guys want to pursue it, I'm up for it. I wonder why the Clinton foundation was never investigated and promptly closed after she didn't get elected? Or how about all that money slated for relief in Haiti that disappeared?
I remember one of Trumps statements after being elected that the swap was all there was in Washington. I believe you guys at that time also posted about that, in effect saying that Trump was only hiring from the swamp. I cannot imagine the battles and I would say even soft war being fought in Washington today. The leaks alone by leftovers has been unbelievable, so I am inclined to cut some slack on this issue. So even if there was a problem, it no longer exists contrary to past admins that would not do a thing. So after being numb and looking at the colossal waste of the previous admin any step in what would seem a normal direction is welcomed.

People can always use the argument that government spends too much money on Presidents and I agree. However, using that argument is useless no matter what president that we have. I personally feel that Secret Service coverage should stop when the president leaves office. That might give some presidents different thoughts as to what they say and do while in office. Exactly. Ex-potus is still spouting off on his liberal agenda - not following Bush's example of butting out. He might shut his yap if he had to watch his own back.

These government types ought to ask themselves ONE question before doing these private plane hops - "Would I do this if I was paying the bill out of my personal pocket" ?

This isn't an indictment of the Obama administration but an indictment of the largess of an exceedingly bureaucratic (<-an exceeding proud moment as I have spelt bureaucratic right the first time without spell check) government. Want to hold this administration to certain standards then we hold them all to those standards. Want to have Trump Cabinet members pay back excesses, then we go back to previous administrations and recoup those funds as well.

I know that ALL of her flights were commercial, minus one flight in the Alaska villages. I don't know the dollar figure, but I'd be willing to bet you it was miniscule in comparison.

And while we're on the subject, let's not forget about the biggest fish of em all. Approximately $80,000,000 has been spent so far on golf trips for the the current resident of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. His latest outing is today, while Puerto Rico struggles to recover, he's working those thumbs trashing the mayor of San Juan. You just can't make this stuff up.....

It was more a general statement regarding the usual back in forth that goes on here. Robert, if you felt it was directed toward you, it wasn't. And I apologize.

Baldo we have disagreed on almost all issues but I have never felt disrespected and didn't see the post that got deleted, so no harm and no foul. You have a quick wit and I would have to wonder why being clever enough why not phrase it differently. I would think that just because Meathead posts a cheap shot why you would go along I give you more credit, since its not a major issue. Glad it got deleted though I wouldn't want to have thought less of you.

cheapshot ? It's an accurate story of Tom Prices excessive expenses. There is nothing cheap about it. A million dollars wasted in 6 months by one guy is rediculous. Your bias is showing.

"I had a reply (response?) but decided it was like wrestling a pig in the mud ...". I think Robert does, as do a lot of us, occasionally get things wrong. Honestly there are several folks that post that I think are as dumb as pigs but I demonstrate my use of a filter by not saying so explicitly. That would be disrespectful, wouldn't it? I distinguish a difference between "I think you're wrong," and "arguing with you is like wrestling a pig in the mud." I do the best I can. Sometimes it's not good enough to please everyone.

Compare yourself to whom you choose. I find swine "smart" compared to some other animals but no so to what I expect of human beings.

While we're on the subject of wasting tax dollars, anyone know how much dingey Harry's little BLM land grab attempt in NV cost? Or whether his little solar energy scam has paid for itself yet?

"arguing with you is like wrestling a pig in the mud." You do realize that its usually the pig that wins? how does someone have that point of reference in their lives? As for being wrong, I haven't seen many responses here that would change my mind and make me think anything different but, Willow has given me pause to reflect on occasion.

"arguing with you is like wrestling a pig in the mud." You do realize that its usually the pig that wins? The full quote would be the pig likes it and you get dirty. Technically I guess that would be a win for the pig. It's still demeaning to a human being. It's a bit like the post above. Meathead can call himself a jackass and it's no violation. If I were to call him a jackass that would be unacceptable.

It's a bit like the post above. Meathead can call himself a jackass and it's no violation. If I were to call him a jackass that would be unacceptable. Would it be acceptable to agree with him? (Just kidding, mostly, he's one of the good ones as far as I'm concerned, that is just misguided, but not "bad") not exactly a full, ringing endorsement. But, I'll take it. You're planning on going to Roanoke? If so, I'll make an extra effort to go just so we can finally sit down and solve the world's problems over some adult beverages... Can I invite myself to this little soiree? This time for more than 2 minutes in the foyer.... Soiree ? French meeting ? I'm not sure that will go over too well at Inzane.
